Look at my lastest ranked games. I played like 8 or something and I am silver 2 and i have high tier golds in my games? So do I just sit in silver 2 and be a hypothetical gold player? I don’t get it. I can never climb honestly. Its pathetic.
So the matchmaking part doesnt bother me its the LP. It makes no sense that if i lose to Higher ranked opponents that I Lose the same LP as matches vs lower ranked ones. Like it wouldn't be so bad to get face stomped by better players if it didn't also ding me for 20Lp.
Yep, super bullshit. It's the biggest turn off in LoL and i might soon uninstall it and get over it. I can't have fun thsi way, with busted matchmaking and forced winning streak punishment
You duod with a gold 3 for multiple games and guess what, that gold players brought other golds into your team buddy. Can't come and whine onto the boards when you try to duo with someone almost 5 divisions higher that also brings a few people from his elo.
Gold? Silver? think of gold 1 as silver 1, and silver 5 as silver 10.
there are 10 silver teirs, and in mid silver, u get 5 promo games instead of 3

While I do agree that matchmaking is pretty terrible, you didn't exactly present the whole story truthfully here.
You duo queue with someone that is Gold 3----when you duo queue it raises your MMR and you will therefore get higher tier opponents. So even though I somewhat agree with your position, it is exaggerated greatly by your circumstance. Queue alone (solo) every game for about 100 matches or so and you'll end up where you should be.
you are high silver, you will play with some low golds sometimes...the other teams have had them too...what's the problem?
I honestly find the ranked ladder system mostly fine
The placement matches however are the most one sided bullshit the game has right now.

You are constantly duoing with a Gold 3 player, resulting in your team's MMR to go high which will result in you getting matched against solo G2 or G3 players. When you are playing solo then you will be matched against G4 or G5 players at most. And your MMR doesn't seem to be high it just that those G4 and G5 players have a low MMR resulting in getting matched against you.
Ive been getting matched w a bunch of higher players and getting 28 per win and -15 per loss. Flex placements vs higher people too and actually got placed higher than what I was last year
You get more points for winning at higher MMR than your current MMR
so what you're saying is you're worse than gold players and think that the only way you can climb is if you were put against silvers? so then you just get hard stuck like gold 5 there is no difference between High silver and high gold they are practically the same thing mechanics are slightly higher and thats about it
That's a but more extreme than normal but not really unfair. If you want to climb you have to prove you are good enough to hang with he guys who are higher ranked than you, so the system will make an effort sometimes to put you with higher rated people to give you a shot at raising your mmr. If you get smacked down anytime that happens it just means you aren't ready yet to climb. Being marginally better than other people at your rank isn't enough unless you want to grind out 1000 games at 51% winrate.
Most of my recent games i've had low golds on my team vs mid tier plats its very frustrating

if u are against gold players, that means you have gold mmr. Which also means you won't be losing much LP or getting demoted unless your mmr drops bellow silver 2. It will eventually match you with players at your level.
Yup. I just had a game where there literally was a plat in a game with high diamonds and masters.
welcome to league where they screw the players, I'm in bronze every season even though I almost hit gold, yea yea elo this and that but you know what permanent punishment for gameplay 4 to 5 years ago? this game is fun but their ability to keep it fair is garbage at best
