Riot, thank you

I know I give you a lot of shit recently, as does a lot of the community. I just can't bring myself to say that the League of Legends of today doesn't make me sick, or that I don't miss the game as it was when I started playing. But what I can say is that I admire your integrity on the fronts that you are able to fight Tencent's control on.

I'm dumbfounded by the people who own your company. They urge you to turn league into a shitty mobile game, and when you make the obvious choice to deny them that, they just make one anyway that completely rips off League and begins to eat into your profits? Look, I believed my thoughts on Tencent's control of you were...shaky? There wasn't really solid evidence to prove that tencent was ramming League of Legends into the ground by forcing your hand on the direction the game is going in.

But after seeing this, my belief that Tencent is twisting your arms behind your backs is only more firm. I can only wish that all of you talented people were working for a different company entirely, one that isn't stuck under the thumb of our Chinese overlords.

shoutout to MLND THE GAP for bringing that story to my attention

Believe me, they practically are, considering they're poised to attempt to buy out Fortnite and PUBG

Egad, at this rate, we'll have no GOOD gaming companies left!
