Is Lux a troll pick for Invasion and Onslaught?

I might just be getting bad Lux players but idk. Everytime I have a Lux on my team she is always last in damage(besides poppy and actual supports) and she generally gets carried.

That is your problem.

Lux is not a damage dealer, she is an alternate Janna. 5man SHIELD, then stun and slow.

Wait since when did Lux get a stun? You mean her root?

Lux is definitely a damage dealer I just think she's a bad champion for onslaught at least in my experience.

She may be. No doubt I was carried by our ADC, but that was the role I took. I can't imagine any of the burst mages actually being good in a mode where you are in a tightly enclosed space with infinitely spawning champions.

Her root stops Vel and Kog from channeling. Having a long range way to stop them from doing their damage is helpful.

Yea, Lux is pretty bad in Invasion. It is because she can't do anything when on cooldown. That mode is very fast paced and requires that you constantly be attacking. She can only attack when her spells come off cooldown. She spends most of her time flailing around trying not to die while waiting for something to come off cooldown.
