Lux Passive

So with the advent of Patch 5.14 and Darius's Apprehend giving vision, I must ask...

Why doesn't Lux's passive, which is called "Illumination" not grant vision? Why is there still zero feedback when you hit your Q in fog of war? There isn't even a hitsound. I know Lux recently got a lot of love with the non-channeled W shield and the instant pop queue-up on the E, but I still don't understand why her passive doesn't grant vision.

Cho'Gath Q grants vision. Wind Wall grants vision. Now Darius E grants vision. These don't even make sense...?
