Why does everybody have the mentality that it's the supports job to buy wards?

Yet you haven't even upgraded trinket. Plz report support no warderino. To lazy to spend 250 gold need to get my kill items.

Only really clueless players think the four total wards a support can have out at any one time is sufficient vision. Everyone should be warding. Supports should just be warding more than everyone else. Personally, I try to get my upgraded trinket as soon as I hit level 9.

That's what I did. I didn't get sightstone, because my ADC fell behind by dying at level 1, and no she didn't kite either. She stood still AAing, and then when she fed late she was like you don't even ward omg. I was like upgrade trinket.

Probably because its part of the supports job description. She has a dedicated item for it = Sightstone.

Same goes for everyone else, tickets boys, upgrade them, use them.

Not really, there is certain situations (especially in low elo) where you don't want to rush it. It probably would have been my 3rd item because I did upgrade trinket.

I get what you're going at, cause I main support :) I feel like every single person on the team should ward, the only excuse being that the trinket's on cooldown. Not saying that everyone should repeatedly buy wards or Sightstone when they recall, but at least use up the free trinket you have (that doesn't even take up an item slot). What's hard about being support is that sometimes gold items just aren't enough, adc has to has the cs, and it takes so freaking long to save up for a big item. People'll argue that that's what the gold items are for, but even with gold items, a support's gold is still much lesser than everyone else's. And especially since a support has less gold and just trying to build up to a big item most of the time, constantly getting wards sets a support back a bit. I guess that's why there's Sightstone, though. If Sightstone provided more than some health and wards, maybe more supports would be more inclined to get the item. I think that many supports would be happy to have a choice between items that gave you wards+armor/wards+health/wards+damage, etc (more the more aggressive supports, maybe) :D

tl;dr Everyone should ward, or at least use up their basic trinkets.
