Am I the only one who finds LeBlanc just....dumb?

LeBlanc is an early game assassin who tries to murder you early so she can murder everybody else mid-late game, so she is obviously a scary lady. She has an interesting theme with deception and clones and stuff, so she has innate outplay potential with her passive.

But what bothers me about her is that you got Katarina who flings daggers at you, Zed stabs you with hand blades and flings shurikens, and then you got Leblanc who just....jumps on you? Great, an assassin Mario. That just looks so dumb. Better yet, who thought it was a great idea?

I'm not saying she is OP or anything, it just irritates me that I feel like a goomba when I play against her and it just looks silly to die from being jumped on

I don't like the difference between Leblanc's gameplay and theme.

Theme: Tricky deception lies magic.

Gameplay: Nuke.

Her W skill is thematic, but most people just use it for burst since that's all she does. Also I guess her passive counts, but its kind of shoehorned in.

Well, an illusionist which is "wimbley wombley magicks" is just plain, her being an assassin adds a twist.

But yeah, her thematics are wonky aniway. Riot should give her a magical dagger or something of the likes if ever plans a VU, that staff is so meh.

I have been thinking a lot about this recently and I completely agree. I like her kit and her overall theme as a trickster mage but she isn't really fulfilling that fantasy of "trickster."

I would love to see a rework on her based around balancing her numbers better and making her feel more like a TRICKSTER rather than a goomba stomper. Her identity as a trickster mage is not being fulfilled properly.

But she's not the only one with strange attacks. Like there's kog'maw who does all his damage by throwing up on you. Or orianna who isn't even a champion. She just stands there and occasionally throws a gear at you, The ball does all the work.

Well I mean if we tried to look at it logically, the most acidic substance we know of isn't in liquid form, and it would have to be in liquid form to really cause damage. But if it's in liquid form it's diluted and therefore can't deal instant damage. In fact, no acid can deal instant damage like kog'maw's acid does.

TL;DR Kog'maw's firing projectile vomit acid with the properties of bullets.

Its about the fact that she deals damage by jumping at your position. at least talon or katarina have the excuse that they attack you with their blades,but leblanc just appears there and does damage.

Not to mention that the only deception in her kit is an automatic triggered passive and the situational W juke. I can do more deceptive plays with Ekko, so much for a deciever.

I think hes talking about the animation. Unlike most assasins who dissapear and reappear beside you, LBs W kinda looks like shes trying to headbutt you.

Her power should be on her Q/R combo and her W should mostly be used as a way to close a gap or escape because she is squishy. Hitting level 2 though lets her Q/W you to half HP.

68 upvotes for literally nothing. Gj Boards. LeBlanc's jump can be avoided and you have to outzone her. She also puts herself at a risk for her squishiness. If you're Zed or Katarina you can jump behind her or ult her as Zed while she is in mid-air.
