The reason why I hate Zed

I hate because he already has been nerfed so much but people don't understand how easy he is to counter and how much he falls off late game. Yet people insist on picking him and he ends up being useless on my team. Not to mention, he is AD, he just makes counterbuilding extremely easy for the enemy team.

He is so easy to counter with and both which have been made cheaper and easier to build. He is useless during teamfights and he can't target tanks with his ultimate because they will survive for long enough to allow the enemy to kill him easily.

Unless your team has an AP top laner and the rest of your team can compensate for the lack of CC that Zed has, then Zed is not a good choice at all. Avoid picking him. There are better assassins there, even Kha'Zix, which is said to be weak, is better than Zed because his damage can't be countered by specific items.

I hate zed because he has no risk, he can ult into the middle of a team and use his shadows to get away and chasing him across the rift is annoying as hell because he can get away 100% of the time. It would be different if once he ulted he HAD to stay next to his target, but nope he can instantly get away which is such bs. I understand hes an assassin but his mobility is the #1 problem I have with him. If he ults and fails, oh well, no punishment. I cannot explain how cheap, cheesy and annoying that is.

Except for the full second you have to punish him with any form of CC. Not sure why failing your ultimate needs to result in instantaneous death with no questions, it doesn't for anyone else in the game.

you're risking so much by picking zed let alone actually playing the game.

So you're saying no melee champion should have an escape... That's brilliant dude. Let's nerf jarvan and everyone else with an escape while we're at it! This is like saying Diana's ult should be changed/nerfed. What will this do? Oh... Right. Leave her without an escape too, create another worthless champion like Zed.

Zed has an escape that adds minimally to his damage - it adds 50% to his Q if both Qs hit. The biggest difference between Zed's escape and other champions with similar skills is that when Zed uses his W, he can always turn. That is different from Jarvan, who uses 2 of his 3 offensive abilities to use his escape - he doesnt do any damage if he turns. And Diana's ult is targeted, so at best its a situational escape.

I lost the last game because i couldnt reach the adc after 30 + minutes anymore. I died like everytime because he cant teamfight and does no damage with his combo late game(without the ult) RIP Zed item 3070

I actually agree with this quite a bit, I still frequently ban zed, but it's against my own team so I don't have to have one on my team, as he's really not that good anymore.

Zed is strong laner, Khazix is super weak laner; in the champion spotlight they say that Zed can jungle, but I guess he is too squishy now.

Kha'Zix is not a strong laner but he is not weak either. As a Kha'Zix main, his early game damage is completely understimated. Kha'Zix' damage can only be countered by good positioning, but you generally have to be near your allies against any assassin, anyway, so it is not like this is a complete weakness for Kha'Zix. Meanwhile, no matter how mispositioned your enemy is, you will not get a kill against them as Zed.
