I don't understand why Ryze gets gutted or reworked when he's strong, but Ahri is left untouched...

Whenever Ryze gets even slightly strong or has some success in LCS, he immediately gets gutted or scheduled for another rework. I've seen in Ahri in LCS for years, she's one of the most popular mid laners in every division (high play rate everywhere), and she also has has one of the highest win rate (if not the highest) among mid laners. I know Ahri is everyone's waifu (My IQ drops every time I see this word, and also after I wrote this post) but seriously...this sh*t is getting old. It's time to nerf Ahri.

Actually i want people to take this post serious for a moment. This poster is not saying ahri is busted, he's not saying "RIOT NERF HER, REWORK HER" he's asking "why is ryze reworked every time he is even slightly OP and other champions like ahri aren't?"

And honestly i feel it's a very good question. A question that makes us has to point fingers at Riot and go.

-You should have put more effort in balancing previous reworks, maybe their was a you could of fixed him

It also makes us go

-you're wasting to much time on Ryze when other champions desperately need to be looked at.

I'm not going to argue for or against, but here is my theory to explain why:

It might be because Ryze has a point and click snare. When he's strong that can make him pretty oppressive.

While Ahri's offense is more or less just that she is resilient to poke and safe from ganks. Literally she is safer and more forgiving to make mistakes with, rather than oppressive.

They are extremely different cases.

They may be extremely different cases, Ahri may be just be a good example of how a champion should be designed. A champion who you can out play, everything about her can be out played. If a Ahri get's a lead, she most likely earned her lead. But once again, this doesn't change the fact, that riot perhaps, puts to much work in Ryze, and not enough work in other champions. Why is it Ryze gets a rework every patch? You say it's because he lacks counter play.

but.. Tryndamere where is the counter play when this guy is max fury, and flash one shots your adc with a crit?Teemo Where is the counter play when this lil fuck came out of nowhere and legit destroys ur adc off a single Q and two autos?

I completely agree. Ryze should be simplified and made playable rather than reworked every 9 months. And other champions deserve the attention more.
