Does Rito buff champion for skin releases?
Ezreal buff—>Arcade Ezreal Jinx buff—>Star Guardian Jinx Tin foil hat conspiracy anyone?

riven got a nerf when her dragonblade skin came out. I doubt it.
There are going to eb exceptions but considering that no nerfs have been mentioned for Jinx even though she is at about a 20% play rate and ~54% win rate and then this skin is announced which is 1820 and this is not the first time something like this has happened there has to be some kind of connection.
Release skins for currently popular champs that are likely to sell better due to such a state then reduce the champs power and in turn popularity. In turn controlling their pwn market.
they buffed Riven recently and as world begins championship riven is gonna be re-released so......
But that's not a new skin for her... it's just a re-release that hasn't been available in 4 years.
coincidence? I think not
For the most part, Riot's skins team does not work that closely with the Live design teams.
They really don't buff certain champs that are going to get higher priced skins. If they did, Annie and Vayne would be the best in their roles (they have Hextech Crafting skins that cost hundreds of dollars to acquire), followed by Ezreal, Sona and Udyr because of their Ultimate-level skins.

Many stupid people in the world.
Many stupid people fall for it.
Many moneys for RIOT because of many stupid people.
Don't buy RP.
It's that simple.
Till there are not many stupid people.
Things will never change.
No sense bitching about it when you can do something about it by not buying RP.
I could be wrong, don't have numbers in front of me. But both seemed like they could use a nudge when they got buffs.
not really, ez had 51% and jinx hsad 53% win rate.

And now jinx has 54%? The rocket changes didn't make her popular or much stronger. I would look to the switcheroo changes back in like 6.10. also jinxed 54% win rate is accompanied by a player base average game of almost 100. So they could be.
But it just seems like a weird move being like. Worlds is here let's buff a champion for skin sales! Makes me doubt that kind of irrational thinking.

Just like a rich person getting 1,dollar from welfare, it's not about how much she gets, but rather why she gets it in the first place.

Juggernaut update last year right before worlds? #neverforget
I used to believe that riot held off on nerfs when a new skin is coming out. Now I'm starting to wonder if they are buffing champs to get them to be more popular just before a new skin is released.
Jinx had like a 53% win rate ans 20% play rate when she got buffed, she definitely didn't need the buff, the only reasoning i got for it was skin release.
But she was popular and had a good win rate, it's not like she needed one to sell skins at the time. I mean I think riot does this, but jinx's case is odd.
Could she have been buffed so we don't see the same 3-4 champs at ADC played during worlds?
buffing 100dmg on her ult doesn't really help her from getting rekt in early level, which champions like jhin excels at.

Doesnt matter when she instawins games with 2 items.
no? she spikes at 3 items.
Yes, yes they do.
Hecarim was nerfed to the ground after getting his Elderwood skin.
that is how the business works, buff to fotm, release skin, nerf after lots of skins were sold.
