Bard ultimate... biggest mistake EVER!

Ok here is my two cent on this... like it or not, you are not forced to agree with me... so... you go into a bronze game... and your support locks in bard. You think to yourself, what is the worst than can happen? he might feed, be toxic, or whatever. NO He literally screws over your entire team in every team fight because he has NO idea how to properly use his mechanic is proper situations... I had a bard ult the entire enemy team 5 times while our fiddle ulted in prefectly and completely nullified the damage all potential damage he could deal... and not to mention... do you not expect trolls to intentionally screw over their teams just because someone said something they don't like and decide to screw over every team fight... this ult was a huge mistake and gives one player complete control over whether you lose or win a game... but what do i know? i'm just a noob in bronze right?

Just wait a week or 2, most of the bad bards will die away and the good ones will stay.

I know how you feel. its how it is when every champion comes out, you get bad ones and then when the hype dies the good ones stay.

My friend just tried to bard jungle.. I was like "Uhm... buddy you may wanna rethink that" Well he insisted.. and we lost.... pretty hard... im not mad at him but its just something people will need to learn.. Gonna take some time for people to get used to him.

What do you do about troll bards? This is not simply a "good vs bad" argument.

Well the only reason why people seem like they're mostly trolling as bard is because no one really knows how to play him and they're probably having a hard time synergizing with their teams.. Anybardy could perhaps accidently ult the enemy team just a second before or just as fiddle began to use his ult.. I accidentally ult people out of Jarvan's ult simply because we didnt think it threw or synergize with one another.. Bacically saying.. people could probably be thinking they're helping by using their ultimate.. but then later realize that it was a bad time.. Its all apart of the learning process...

What can you do about troll bards? Absolutely nothing but report them at the end..

But This also got me thinking.. What if the bard was trying his best.. then one mistake and his team started to rage at him. Now forgive me.. but.. if your whole team is treating you like your trash and yelling at you.. Would you want them to win? Or would you say.. because these people are being insensitive jerks to me.. I have the ability to screw over their game..

Although a higher person would probably not stoop that low as to intentionally screw their whole team over.. but how many people in league do you expect to be higher then that?

Might wanna be nice to your bard..

Well my friends let me experiment... sometimes it works.. sometimes its just very very bad...

but normal games are the best place to test things..

unfortunately even rito acknowledged that it was bound to happen if u have a bard in your team you can only pray he is there to play not troll. Also most bard player suck right now (I put myself into that category) because time is needed to understand his depth (like with any other champs).

Everyone knew that Bard was going to be prime troll material in a worst-case scenario, and a bumbler's bane for anyone unskilled or unversed in how the Bard operates. But let's face it: the trolls were going to fuck with you regardless of the champion they pick.

I've experimented with the ult myself. It can be used in some pretty devastating ways for the enemy team, either as an anti-pursuit stun, or a way to hold off on a teamfight for an extra few seconds while you wait for your allies to regroup. It has a lot of uses, but because the skill ceiling for Bard is so high, you have to know what you're doing before trying him out, because his skills can screw over his allies very easily.

They gave bard the ability to put his allies in stasis and enemy team in stasis? Haha..

New Champ Released: Ban them in ranked or tell your team not to pick them, that's my mantra always during release week. Unless the player already has 10+ games with them, ranked is not the place to try them out.

Uh... well Bard is a hard champion, from what I've seen. The ult is tricky to pull off right, just like the examples you gave. A bronze player playing him on his day of release...? Yeah, probably not the best results.

yeah but yorick ult would be the last one cause it applies after you die and the ghost might go away before you actually die lol
