In the splash he has more "anime" style hair with spikes and such and the ingame model looks like he just has all of his hair pulled back. Not really a fan of the current in-game model's head or face in general looks pretty bad all around.

I want my anime hair. I feel like they may have miscommunication when they talk about a skin and decide to work on it. The in-game model is missing a bunch of things such as hair details, the exaggerated cloak, the colors being much brighter on the model, and the areas with the sash around the waist.
Don't worry everyone loves Irelia's, so Riot isn't gonna do anything.
well of course it doesn't, that's the case a decent amount of time and if masked shaco is anything to go by they will not change it, I've made several thread that masked shaco has several inconsistencies with the in game model, even sent a support ticket but riot doesn't care sadly.

Agreed hope riot will change this a bit and the colors are weird on the ingame model, I saw someone posted a beautyful color change on Talonmains reddit i think it would be 100 times better.

My biggest problem is the sleeve on the in game model it is practically not there compare to the splash art.
I hope they adjust the model to match the splashart more. Honestly, if it looked just like splashart, I'd buy as soon as it came out. Sure I don't play talon, but that skin makes me think of Final Fantasy immediately (which I enjoy a lot).
Sadly, there is a big disconnect ATM between splash arts and in game skins... the splashes are amazing and really awesome, but putting that level of detail into the actual game isn't done, so it looks so weird...

They are going to try and make some changes to Talon's model I think.
In splash he is in action as u can see he using his ulti which means his hair can move right/left it is not big problem in game hair awesome too.

The splashart is - like nearly always - better than the ingame model. What really surprises you? There are some splashes where the champs look even about a 1000 times better.
And - for me - the hair in the splash look a bit too anime. But beside that, i agree.
