Depends on who you're playing. Gangplank Shoot it. Darius AA> Reset with W (W gets reduced CD when killing target) Khazix One Q to deny like half Malz's damage? Worth it. Pantheon Q it. MonkeyKing Jump on Malz, kill Voidling with AoE Yasuo AA+ Dash or something Nasus Stack it. Anything that can burst it without wasting core parts of their kit (on long cooldowns) should be able to take it down, denying Malzahar of most his damage. If you are Nautilus or something, you basically got counter picked. Kinda..

Xd i know, but if your playing malz into melee... well yeah your in a bad situation. but thats not wholly uncommon, there are other champs that if you pick melee into ranged they get fucked up. (on both sides)

That's good

But I'm certain his main problem comes from his ability to Jungle. No amount of counter picking is going to help against Malz's ability to Fast clear with his voidling while taking little to no damage, or Soloing Dragon at level 2 or 3.
