I believe damage has gone up just by looking at masteries alone, but can you substantiate that number or is it just an exaggeration?

It's only an exaggeration lol. I was just bringing attention to the fact that champions keep dishing out more and more damage as patches go on as our defenses (turrets) keep getting more and more pointless.
