This isn't philosophical advice, I'm serious; do this. Whenever you're thinking about fighting, or are near the enemy team, look at the map.
If you do this, you will be able to discern bad fights, which will drastically reduce your chances of throwing a lead, or making a bad situation worse.

It should be, but it's very clear sometimes that most of your team does not do this before committing to a fight.

happened to me last game with the Leblanc.. costed me a death but I managed to pick back up easily, learning my lession my map awareness increased dramatically afterwards..

No, I admit it has teamwork, and if you have vision, you can take the liberty of pushing further, taking an objective, contesting an objective or (safely) going for a pick. But if your team has zero vision control and they have a ton of it, then yeah, moving around on your own becomes far more risky.
Only Play Darius1 votesWell maybe I don't want to be teamfighting early. Maybe I need more time to farm or to take a turret. Which used to be possible but thanks to new trinket trying to do anything by yourself is suicide.
