Supports can climb just like anyone else.

It takes longer and you are depending on your team way too much. Support for people trying to climb is a waste of time.

Supports can only help their team carry them. They can do it really well but if their team does nothing with their help.. well.

And itemize around then. Be at the mercy of them (ur adc dies from overextending, ur left to clean up XD).

Now more than any Season before, i feel weaker as supp =(

Know how to peel, others cant prioritize or focus one target. You feel so dependant, even when u spoon feed ur allies you can still lose.

yes they can but its harder then any other roles as you have to help your team but you also have to depend on them and help them not make mistakes you cant carry so ya.

in low ranks im starting to see kill lanes because people dont want to wait for their primary role and in this meta that trumps a real support

I've always found which position you play is pretty irrelevant. What always seems to determine the game for me is which team has more idiots who don't know how to teamfight, ward, take objectives, and other vitally important skills. The best thing you can do is not be one of those idiots to skew the chances to 5/9 for the enemy team and 4/9 for yours.

I have a positive winrate on support in ranked when I do have to play it. I feel like it's pretty easy to win as long as your ADC is good. If you have that it's pretty easy. I don't main support, but I find it to be the easiest role and really relaxing. As long as you play your champion correctly you will climb. Also, if you're someone who tends to tilt. I would actually recommend picking up support. It is the only role that I am immune from tilting on.

I typically can rally teamwork with a few nice picks. I'll gank mid or help our jg invade. That way you have their attention and can request fights for objectives and be listened to.

Climbing from B5 this season as fill and will be posting stats minute I hit S5 to give a good glimpse into what performance is required to climb bronze.

So far looks like you need about 60-70% win rate over about 100-150 games if you're truly bronze MMR to get S5 from B5 in a somewhat non shitty timeframe.

ok well yes support can carry.. but you need to be at least silver for it to really work or just lucky and get a decent team in higher bronze.

I got diamond 4 last season by supporting almost the entire time as well, nothing special it's just all luck with how your team does.
