yeah because Vayne top is a normal occurrence and Nunu was changed because he would go top and there was absolutely nothing you could do against him. You couldn't push him out nor gank him all that well. He was pretty much always full HP

sorry but if either the top laner or the jungler are stupid enough to be near walls she can condemn you into then she isn't getting away... unless you have no cc whatsoever between both of you in which case sucks to be you and the jungler shouldn't be bothering to gank for you unless she is that overextended. She also cannot 1v2 you unless she is that far ahead and/or both the top laner and jungler are that stupid. Vayne isn't going to blow you up and she won't have the items necessary to 1v2 you under normal circumstances

condem has a 0.5 knock back duration even when not knock into wall
if you are healthy as a melee champion against vayne then the vayne is retarded.
if jungler is flanking, her passive makes her outrun you easily

1- Condemn can only push ONE of you so if both of you have some amount of cc then you are going to catch her and either kill her or make her blow her flash.

2- it doesn't matter the duration, it's a 1v2 if only one of you have any sort of cc then bait the damn condemn it has a pretty high CD specially since vayne's don't max it first.

3- if you decide to stay in lane when you are low on HP against a vayne then you are retarded, it's called learn to play against ranged champions as a melee champion, it's not that hard. Learn when to CS when to give up CS and when to engage.

4- why is your jungler starting the gank when you are not even ready? and does the jungler have no cc whatsoever? why did he even bother ganking at that point?

5- so Vayne is at least lvl 9 and maxed Q first? where was the jungler before then? also she needs to actually hit someone for her CD to even be that low at max rank

Well why is there even an attempt to gank someone if you don't have cc and they are able to easily escape otherwise? go gank a different lane

You don't need a gapcloser to get to Vayne, Vayne herself will go towards you do take advantage of that

Why are you ganking a lane if neither of you do damage? you might as well not even try at that point. You only need ONE of you to do damage

Why are you ganking a lane where the enemy is healthy while your lane is dying? that just screams of "countergank" and "free double kill" right there

Why you need to be a challenger to be able to gank a Vayne? seems to me you need to learn how to play against a Vayne in general

sure, because as we all know Vayne's Q has a 2 sec CD at rank 1. Once again, why are you waiting till lvl 9 for you to even start ganking her? sorry to say this but do not top or jungle if you have so little flexibility on how you approach things and definitely do not jungle if you do not know when to gank someone

lmao I don't even know why that works, seriously. I shit you not, I had a Draven one time go top, and I said in my head "gg, our tops gonna get outscaled" but Draven single handedly crashed their base right before 20 minutes all by himself while we were still dealing with t1 towers, I am still absolutely mystified to this day how that happened

It's because his cheese potential during the early game is enormous. His empowered attacks early do a lot of damage so either Draven kills you very early or he zones you for most of the lane phase.

As a melee, your only option is to allow Draven to push to your tower and try to farm there. From then, you need to stack armor. That's your only option to avoid dying to Draven later.

Either that or you can ask your jungler to camp Draven. He is actually very vulnerable to camping and this can render him useless. However, most junglers, especially at low elo, do not even know that top lane exists.

I don't think you played against nunu top. At least with vayne there is a huge number of champions that kill her. It is basically only juggernauts and tanks, that vayne can lane against.

I'm d3 and some of these picks are likely to get dumpstered provided equal skill. In particular Jax XinZhao Tryndamere simply can't close the gap without getting tumbled away/ condemned.

Have not tryed trynda but the other two should be able to almost burst her down in the time she is stunned. If she condems, then walk away and jump on her at cd since condemn has a long cd. Ofcourse you can't play brainlessly and most of these mathcups cant all in at lvl 1 but they should do well come lvl 6+. The post was mostly meant to prove that there are top laners who can kill vayne unlike the time nunu was there.

I was playing Nunu one time, and I timed a ward the enemy had placed in a bush on my phone so that I recalled as the ward had 4 seconds left. They knew better than to cancel my recall since they were on 200 health and I could easily bite-ignite. After I saw the ward break, I cancelled my recall and channeled my ult in the bush. Ha! 10/10 would do again.
