If you play bowling or tennis or soccer or basketball or football (US), you're still allowed to have a team mate who's way better than you, so that doesn't really take away from it being a "sport."

Crying and saying that "they must do this", or "we are right and you should be grateful for us" is not going to solve anything. There are 2 kinds of criticism in the world. Constructive criticism is when you voice your opinion in a diplomatic, and well-mannered way - that is what posts like this are incapable of doing. And whining criticism where the person who posts can't accept that change is natural both in video games and in life, acts entitled and berates the company like they are retards - that is what the Boards as a whole are doing at the moment. What you people don't understand that posts like this are not needed and will not just not help but will make things worse. Its a two-way street. Yes we have expectations of Riot, but they won't gain any constructive feedback from raging. Look they are not going to bring back Solo Q, get over it. So we should focus on something else - improving Dinamic Q. You may not like the system but lets be honest the old one was also barely functional, lets work on making this better rather than crying over spoiled milk.

Yeah, but those sports pro are not allowed to morph into some unknow guys, and carry low-level games for their friends.

casually you can but in an official tournament. you can't say bring Messi or Ronaldo to a lower level of soccer. hell you can't even get college players to play in im leagues tournaments of their own sport because it would be unfair.

you aren't allowed to bring LeBron James or Kobe Bryant to play in a high school tournament with them dressed up as a highschooler.

You could if they were legally a student who was of age at that high school, that's not a skill thing.

For real comparing LoL to the NBA?

You're right, it only becomes an issue when you start directly comparing that team to individuals. Some people are good at being coordinated and can play really well with their team, on their own they might not be amazing but they always know what their team is up to, can pass without even looking and are all around great at that. Versus someone who can do it all, pass, shoot, juke, everything, trying to compare the two skills and somehow find where they line up is silly, they're two different game types and should have two different ladders (solo and 5v5)

Simple.

They say what you want to hear.

And they do what they want to do.

Because they don't give a fuck about you.

  1. Boosting happened before this, and was possible with a duo queue.
  2. Riot isn't telling to boost people, so blame those who are boosting for the problem, not Riot.
  3. It's being looked into to have disparity in team MMRs to a point where win rate will be 50% for any set of grouped games (aka Team vs. solos)
  4. Boosting has its limits since chance of getting a group of equal size is pretty high when you queue as a group.

  1. Yea it was, but it was a lot harder.
  2. Who made the system that makes it easier to boost?
  3. It is being achieved (Or tried to) by giving some arbitrary "balance" tool, simmilary to what we had before with premades. It doesnt change the fact, that soloes will still be at a disatvantage.
  4. Yea..... No.

all these solo Q noobs crying and crying daily on the forums LOL. riot should ban players that don't have friends to play with in this game LOL

can we stop fighting over the stupid queues, it comes down to the fact that communication is what wins games, and people get upset when friends queue up to play with people they can communicate with. In any sport, a team of 5 randoms is crap compared to a team with communication. It sucks, but there isn't much that can be done but get a discord channel and invite your team, that way you will get more out of it...

Last season I didn't play ranked because it was 2's or 5's, so i sat out.(group of 3 that played) God forbid someone say hey, i want to play a match where I can TRUST someone to have my back/vice versa.

Nilok4 votes

We had it, it was called team queue and it functioned just fine without interfering with solo queue.

If communication is the real problem, perhaps it is long past due to implement VoIP chat for League.

Boulderox1 votes

Exactly, that is one thing people have been asking for a little while

Well, they're not really referring to casual play when they say that. And by "casual" I mean "anything you're doing at home/at a friend's etc..

They want it to be a competitive sport in the professional sense, and their decisions on what they're doing reflect that. Which is why, even though DQ has worse worst-case-scenarios than SQ they don't feel the need to use resources to address that.

It's not their prerogative.
