Team builder is a failure. What's being done about it?

Or is it just being left to rot, like pretty much everything else Riot tries to introduce?

I mean, unless the intention behind team builder is mixing Silver and Diamond players, in which case keep up the good work. Really enjoy getting an instant queue as jungle, then having something stupid like a Gold + Silver bottom lane vs. two Diamond players, having them feed horribly, and then rage quit.
