Is Kassadin good now?
Title?

No.shity laning. No dmg till you hvae at least 2 full items. No hard cc.
not at all
Well he went up 11% WR on op.gg and the items he buys is now better since he can get 40% CDR naturally.
Stats. are really preliminary but he's still not good almost for sure. It's just that the meta has more picks he's not terrible vs since the mages reworked lack mobility (and also people don't know how to play them yet). He's not complete trash but he's mediocre at best.

Win rate going up that much is generally an indication that something improving the champion. Item changes and meta changes along with nerfs to bad matchups and champions who are good vs kassadin definitely help him. I think he's definitely top tier at pro level on this patch assuming any games are played on it.
Kass got a gooooood bit stronger with this patch. He now gets 40% CDR naturally and his ultimate scales off of max mana for damage, which is much more wide spread now. Not to mention the new Archangel and Tear synergize a ton with his ultimate since it reduces his R cost by a ton after a few uses. Not to mention the current Mage heavy matches favor Kass since his magic damage shield helps a lot.

If he improved, it's only minimally so and mostly for the temporary reasons I outlined. Yeah he gets CDR more easily but it does come at the cost of AP compared to the old items. You will see that I'm right within a week or so (unless the immobile mages actually continue to be played at their current rate). I wouldn't expect his winrate to break 50%.

His win rate is 55% at all elos. He's just really good again.

I think you mean closer to 47% or you're going off a very small sample/bad site. He is not performing at 55% winrate anyhwere on 6.9 overall.
