Why does everyone think GA is a ADC item?

Old GA was a great 5th or 6th item for ADCs, as it offered armor + MR in one slot. At that point in the game an additional 30? AD is negligible and completely unnecessary, and really a complete waste of a slot compared to items that can give a combination of AD/armor pen/crit/attackspeed/lifesteal, which are the stats ADCs need. That MR is far more useful at that point in the game when ADCs have already accumulated enough of the 5 stats above.
