@Riot It's been a week, how are the Post-Rylai's nerf Champs doing?
Given how the data that comes in from most games are sufficient to make a conclusion or result about a week after a patch hits, I was curious as to how the champs that relied on Rylai's the most are doing now that it's nerfed, and if Riot wants to make any changes to them. While it did tone down most of the champs that abused it too much, there are a few champs who's core was centered entirely around Rylai's almost. Here are 3 that I can think of atm that I'm curious about:
#Mordekaiser
While Morde hasn't exactly been in a good spot since his rework, one of his only respites was with Rylai's, the item that his kit was almost entirely designed around was his go-to item to keep himself in the fight or during the chase. Now that the slows have been reduced to %20, I can imagine that Morde's having a LOT harder time sticking to his opponents than he used to.
#Vladimir
Now I personally haven't heard a lot about Vlad since the Rylai's nerf, but considering he's the only mage that instead uses his own health instead of mana, I can guess the nerf has hit him pretty good as well. Not only less AP and Health on the item means he's both a little squishier and less powerful, but the reduced slows means he can't stick to targets as well.
#Karthus
Yes, of course I'm mentioning Karthus lol. He's considered one of the biggest users of Rylais as far as I know. Granted, I don't actually use the item myself anymore, but I did used to use it almost religiously (I think there's a pun somewhere there) because of how easy he can proc the slow with his Q, and was still quite popular with other people who also had it as a core item.
I'm just curious as to what Riot thinks about those affected greatly about the nerf. Thoughts? I'd love to hear em! :D
