I don't understand why everyone complains about Yasuo but not Teemo

If you lose to a Yasuo you are bad. With the exception of his dash (and auto attacks obviously), his damage is 100% dodgeable. Meanwhile Teemo just spams his blind and auto wins trades with everyone. Post 6 the only counterplay is to have like a million control wards in your inventory at all times. And I can't believe Riot is actually considering changing control wards to buff Teemo.

As a Teemo Main, I can say that Teemo is countered more easily than Yasuo. If a Yasuo feeds hard, in the late game, he will still be a threat. If you feed hard as Teemo your out of the game. Teemo gains a power spike after getting his first item. Besides Yasuo can carry games. Teemo cannot unless he is extremely fed. 20/0/0 by like 20 minutes.

This is complete bullsh*t. Even if Teemo isn't fed he still has shrooms are invisible, grant vision, and do aoe damage. And blinds are always useful, even if you're not fed.

His shrooms are insanely easy to counter with just one mr item. If not fed teemo is useless, and he is easy to not feed to as he can't tower dive unless he is fed. REmember, cs is not as important as not feeding.

His shrooms can be completely wrecked by a 75 gold item. His blinds can't hit everyone and doesn't do much against mages and at the end of the day, he is still squishy and has no insane life steal. Yasuo on the other hand is easy to feed and can snowball hard.

Yasuo is ever so slightly overtuned, Teemo is not. :)

Teemo annoys other toplaners. Yasuo annoys the whole other team.

When Teemo uses his basic abilities effectively, the most annoying mechanical interaction is TF or Udyr losing a stun on a 4 second cooldown (lower than the blind that caused the miss).

Post 6 the only counterplay is to have like a million control wards in your inventory at all times.

...Or simply activate Oracle's Alteration, and then get 10 seconds of going wherever you please while being immune to his traps and revealing them for everyone to attack. If your team has 2-3 of these, you can move with close to impunity. I spectated a challenger level game where AP Teemo got really fed, so the enemy team had five Oracle's Alteration, and it absolutely stomped him.

When Yasuo uses his Wind Wall effectively, the most annoying mechanical interaction can cause a significant number of the ranged champs in the game to entirely fizzle their ultimates, often simultaneously. Losing a 120 second cooldown to a Wind Wall is really frustrating. Very rewarding for Yasuo, but very frustrating for the other side. It has a lot of quality-of-life frustration effects too, like blocking Mikael's Crucible and Talisman of Ascension.

Yasuo is more popular than Teemo.

That's basically the only reason. If Yasuo had Teemo's pick rate no one would care about him.

Which isn't to say that Teemo is OP or anything. He's not. He's just far more obnoxious and oppressive in lane. I guess it might also help that Teemo does fall off late game.
