Improving matchmaking
In the attached post, the topic was about people getting flamed all time every day in LoL. While I do think that blaming someone for doing poorly is not a good thing, the nature of team work calls for it. In any group task, it is expected from everyone to give an equal effort and, ideally, provide the same benefits towards the end goal. Translated into league, when you get matchmade Riot estimates for all 10 players to be with as close MMR (skill) as possible, however this is rarely achieved. Therefore, almost all the time you get teammates who are better or worse than you. Those that are better feel the weight of those playing poorly, thus get filled with frustration (and a sense of betrayal) thus might flame. It is only natural for people to have ''exhaust outlet'' and express every emotion, be it positive or negative. In the long run, those who perform well but not win, and those who perform poorly (and get flamed) get filled up with negative energy due to the ongoing poor experience i.e. get their threshhold lower than normal. Having low threshhold means people will complain for even minor mistakes, let alone someone feeding irreversebly. The matchmaking is 'flawed' in a sense, but it is virtually impossible to match 10 people with the exact same skill, proficiency at the given role, motivation to cooperate and all other factors that come into one game of competitive League of Legends.
If you asked me, Riot needs to include more factors into determining one's MMR, like KDA after the laning phase and similar stats that measure individual skill most accurately.
