Can someone explain why champions can stealth in the middle of a lane?

Like, it doesn't even make sense. How is someone able to hide in plain sight? One minute you see the Rengar/Twitch/whatever and then the next minute they just magically disappear somehow.

Also, why are champions able to stealth while taking damage? If they take damage they start bleeding, and you blood on the ground should be a pretty clear indication of where they are.

In a game where a little girl carries a demon bear from hell as a stuffed animal, sentient robots throw magic balls around, a fucking dragon god who creates a universe as a basic ability can be beaten by an oversized rat with a blowdart, and a meremaid throwing water in your face heals you from near lethal swordwound, THAT is where its crossing the line for you?

Oddly enough Aurelion Sol (and most of the other champs in this game) makes more sense than stealth in this game. Maybe in real life he's a god, but all are equal on the field of battle that is summoner's rift.

Except surely the force that keeps Sol's stars from obliterating everything around him can make someone invisible when they shouldn't be.

For the same reason you can walk into brush and suddenly nobody can see you and you're somehow not moving the grass. Or how bullets curve and follow targets in the weirdest of ways. All purely gameplay, can't count on logic in video games unless they're really going for the simulation vibe.
