Honestly Disappointed with Riot

I understand, you have a lot on your plate. The ever changing Meta, the reworks, the server change, Worlds.

But this is the year that we have had the LEAST champions so far. Only 3 Champions this year. And we're looking at another champ to be released around October at the earliest. That's 3 months between champions. That's honestly way to much.

I really hope your going to cram like 4 champions into the rest of the year. Maybe one per month.

Anyway, I'm glad with most recent changes, the reworks and items. (The Op shit and meta changes keep this game fun tbh) But I hope we don't have to wait so long for champions.

League already has more than enough champs and the ones released this year are actually very diverse (role wise) so you shouldn't complain about "not enough champs released" there is a point in which making sure something gets fixed takes priority over making new content and until old champions get fixed i would rather have less champs per year than more dumbass champions that will just take time to fix how horribly broken they will be at release (whether it's broken as in OP or as in weak as hell) that could be used on old champions that need it more

Ghost crawler also said this once.

We have separate teams making new champions and updating old champions. While we could probably increase the update cadence if we collapsed the first team, we do get some benefits of working in parallel. Figuring out the right cadence of new champions releases is something we talk about A LOT. There was a belief a few years ago that we were going to freak out players (new and existing) if we kept shipping 20 champions a year. On the other hand, getting a new champion is one of the most exciting things that can happen to the game for existing players. I think the game might actually start feeling stale if we stopped releasing new champs. We'd like to figure out a way to release them a little more frequently than we have done the last year or so, if we can do that without affecting quality. We understand it's a challenge for new players to learn League and that adding more champions over time doesn't help with that. But, honestly, we feel like it's the right thing to do to support you guys, you know actual League players, than starve you for content in the hopes of getting new players. There is a lot we can, should, and eventually will do to make League easier to learn, but I worry about any strategy that improves the learning curve at the expense of current players.

So many reworks don't impact the amount of champs we get.

id rather them fix old champs than release new champs, look at poppy, quinn, karthus, taric, galio, etc. still in need of love

Please read my comment. Ghost crawler stated reworks DO NOT affect the time new champions come out.

Karthus is also good so idk what your taking about xD

why haven't seen him since january then?

also I know that I was just saying I really don't care about new champions where there are so many things that need to be fixed that are in the game right now in my opinion Riot shouldn't be too worried about adding new content as much as OP thinks they should.

Well maybe they should stop making champions or at least think them out before they do. The champions they made this year have been sky rocketed to the pro scene because they are just that good or overloaded or whatever. Azir mid shaping competitive because he is just that good, no one knows who to beats him with. RekSai being the best possible jungler out there for the pros with with so many tools to use to your advantage. Ekko tank ekko jungle of course very strong, had to be nerfed because of it. Gnar Riots little baby when it comes to the top lane, he has been buffed a ton because he wasn't strong enough for the amount of skill it took to play him, now he is in almost every game top in competitive...
