Why are we treating this as which coast is better instead of calling Riot out for not really fixing the issue

inb4 only 1% of all east coast players raise a division due to lower latency. 99% resort to blaming their teammates! :P

As a west coaster, this is hilarious.

Has riot already moved their servers? Or whatever they're doing with them, to make sure east coast actually gets decent ping now?

I'm just asking, I'm actually really happy east coast is getting some love.

As annoying as the west coast crying is ( I'm an east coaster ) I kind of get why they are upset. Having 3 servers would be nice one in Chicago one in New York or D.C and one in California.

This...i just love it nothing less then perfect.

The hilarious (but not really!) part is when people report higher or similar ping times than mine (157ms to Portland), while I'm connecting from all across the Atlantic Ocean (Europe!) to the NA servers. The move to Chicago drops my ping to 103ms, and I'm simply baffled by the pings others report. I believe all of you when you say your ping is horrid, but it sounds like American internet infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired.

This is actually true by me. Growing up poor I didn't have high speed internet until 2010 when I was in high school. Not until now am I actually having a good connect I can afford. For ever I thought my 100 ping was great and IMO it's not bad.
