overall thoughts on assassin update.

in my honest OPINION, i believe they went in the wrong direction with most of the assassins. basically the TL;DR is this, they deal damage too slowly. is probably the biggest example of this. sure if you can get her combos off precisely she will be a huge problem, but the problem is getting it off at all because her daggers not only land very slowly, but they land pretty far BEHIND the target. i understand giving the enemy windows of opportunity to counterplay you, but holy shit is that a large window.

All im saying is adjust thows windows a bit more, otherwise assassins will just feel like squishier fighters, especially shaco.

Your problem with the update is the exact same as Riot's motive behind the update. They wanted assassins to require more skill than they did. They wanted it to be satisfying to get a kill through superior mechanics. Kat was too easy to play with no penalty for having poor mechanics. Now a player has to think and be patient in order to get a kill, not just E, Q, Ult to get a double kill.

Or just give Kata her old kit again, so the good players can do it in 0.4 secs and the bad players will still do it in 1.25 as the current kit forces you... Actually it's funny, because the kit is pretty much... The bad players see no difference or bigger opportunity, because they were slow anyway, but the ppl who were fast now can hardly do anything... I'm personally facerolling on my keyboard literally, because I'm so board while waiting for that dagger to fall, that I might die IRL from borderm....... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

So have your realized that she can still kill people in 0.4 seconds? I actually find the new kat fun and interesting where before you just repeated the same combo till you gotta penta. and if you say I am the only one that feels this way I am far from it. People who use to think kat was scummy and to easy to play now play her because she actually takes skill and planning to use.

She cant, simply because her spell needs to fall for 1.25, which makes it minimum 1.25 if the guy dies in 2 hits. And the current kit is literally spamming the same...

so your saying that league counts the time in which that spell lands in the time that kat kills someone. cause they do not. you read the death timer it'll still read 0.4

not only that if you actually knew what your were doing your wouldn't spam the same combo.

his damage is low and slow. they trade his blink for a slow leap, and his bleed is takes 3 or 4 hits to even proc. its ridiculous. they are litterally fighters. ive been playing the assassins on PBE and now on life with no changes. they are FAR to slow.

basically, the way i see it is that burst mages are the new assassins. i have no reason to pick LB/kat over annie, ahri, or syndra. burst as annie is going to come out much quicker than the burst from a kat.

it is LITTERALLY impossible to kill someone in 0.4 seconds as kat right now unless ur 30/0 and level 18 fighting a bunch of lvl 12s.

Impossible? fix your runes and masteries cause you have no idea. That is like people saying lb cant one shot people anymore just because her q does less damage. land your chain and they are dead.

And as for the 30/0 part you realize kat didn't kill anyone in 0.4 seconds before unless she was fed.. which was possible cause she would poke down enemies then after about 3 kills start one shotting. which hasn't changed it just takes more planning then just pressing qewr.

Plus lets not forget that your saying in this post that they went the wrong direction? but most of the assiasins after this update can now one shot no problem. Prime example being kha'zix Khazix .

im starting to think the entire update was just one massive nerf. i cant find ANY talon main that prefers his current E over his new E. and his Q is clunky as shit.

I do. New Talon is WAY more fun and interesting to play than OLD Talon, and the tech E allows is way more dynamic than what little tech E did. I was skeptical about removing his Blink before but the end result was well worth the sacrifice.
