AP maokai unchecked kinda sucks balls for most people in aram to face. So you nerf him. I get that.

Why would you nerf his damage received alongside his damage output as opposed to just his damage output alone. Is his tank build the issue? No.

Or with LB who has a ludicrous buff to both damage and tank. Maybe she needs more tank since there's never a 1v1 phase. Why also buff her dmg? An ARAM LB can certainly blow up a squishy without the extra dmg, and with the extra dmg in my experience she can actually just straight one shot certain champs she shouldn't even be allowed to one shot like certain bruisers.

And why does sion even have a nerf to his damage? why not just his tank. I get nerfing his tank because he can stack his W hilariously fast with assist farming (but it actually doesn't stack as fast as you think, so I'm surprised his tank nerf is as high as it is, IIRC 10% rather than 5%).

And veigar, you gave him a tank nerf and an 8% dmg nerf. Nonsense, he's already plenty squishy enough unless if he goes into tank itemization. Buff his tank to normal, and up dmg nerf to 15%, now he can't itemize tank without being useless, but his stacking wouldn't be as huge a problem as it is now.

And of course, balancing wouldn't even really be required with 10 bans reinstated to aram. I can only think of around 4-5 champions that are aggregiously overpowered in ARAM.

10 bans and unlock all champs to prevent aram accounts from banning out the bad champs in their already small pool

Tbh Maokai is crazy broken in ARAM alongside stuff like Ez, Sona, Taric, Nida, Xerath, Lux, Ziggs, Pyke...

Not to mentoin no amount of damage and tank nerfs will make AoE CC that covers most of the bridge width less cancerous.

The damage thing is true for Akali as well. 18% extra damage. Does anything feel Akali struggles to deal damage ever? Damage taken buff sure but damage?

This buff means she can use Gunblade at level 7 (238 damage after buff) to deal 1/4 of many champs HP from an item active, more if they have a damage taken nerf themselves.

Yes, it was. Tanks are fucking strong in ARAM, and Maokai was nuts. AP maokai wasn't the target, tank Maokai was. His AP build hasn't been particularly notable in ARAM for years.

LB got a damage buff because she, like most other assassins, sucks hardcore in ARAM. There's no way to flank the backline, no walls to jump over, almost no way to get a gold or level lead like a midlaner can more easily get in summoner's rift, etc. There are so many things working against her, that she needs a damage buff to work.

Because he was really strong. Sion just sitting on mages and carries was a pretty major threat. he needed to lose both.

I can definitely support bans though. Always a good idea.

Ya, ziggs is dumpstered does garbage damage but meanwhile the rengar/akali buff... I never see them go negative, I hadn't even played rengar in like 2 years and I went like 15-8 with him EASILY... same thing with akali, I built like 2 tanky items and still was like 17-7... Sona still feels ALRIGHT to play because her damage is never mitigated by the -50% dmg from 1000 range but ziggs is just AWFUL and if people play him without using his passive on towers then its pretty much a free loss.

Most of people play AP Champions in aram , and Maokai with MR is really great against Mages , so since they nerfed a lot of mages , he had to get nerfed too so it becomes fair

But I agree on your idea , the balance in aram is BS ,Why did Kai'sa need a buff there?
