What if Jhin's ult had piercing bullets?

What if Jhin's ult had piercing bullets? * /r/leagueoflegends

I just think that Jhin's viability http://champion.gg/champion/Jhin ends in early, farthest to mid game, and the only reason would be that his ult does significantly lower dps than other marksman just auto attacking, mostly since it can be interecepted and blocked with high armor frontline. But what if it couldn't be interecepted and was piercing instead? Isn't Jhin supposed to be the "true" sniper? P.S. Damage per bullet could be adjusted if need be.

Meh, to similar to spray and pray, would turn him into AOE marksman like Twitch and MF.

Kinda agree, but each his ult shot is a skill shot, and needless to say he doesn't lack an identity as a marskman and champion. He has fixed attack speed plus reload time, his ult feels underwhelming in actual game circumstances.

So each shot of Twitch ult is a skillshot. Jhin doesn't lack identity now, but with aoe ult he would.

Spray and Pray doesn't exist for over two years now, the first version was stationary and could have been considered a skill shot. Twitch's ult got changed and while still retaining the name it became point-and-click. The most recent change was an ability name, now called Ra-ta-ta-ta-ta. TL:DR: Twitch's ult is NOT a projectile skillshot.

That would be OP.

I never said that the damage numbers should 100% remain the same, it would prolly require balancing. The suggestion is more about being able to finish off low health targets with good aim, not about increasing his overall dmg, eventhough it would. Maybe the good way of balancing would be 10% reduced dmg for each champion the bullet pierced through along the way?

The actual counterplay to Jhin comes exactly by meatwalling his ultimate since it would only hurt ppl already low on health. I think it's balanced as it is.

Have you even seen the link for his win rate in platinum+ ranked I posted in the topic description? If yes, have you also tried playing him?

Edit: Don't bother answering until since by staying in silver for years you can't have clue about is something is balanced or not (no offence, just circumstances).

If we want to go with this, you'r record is gold which has been proved to be not any better than bronze 1 in terms of ppl living there. I am doing placement matches only and not trying everything I got to pull out some elo-jerkiness.

Now, I've played him each time I got the chance since release and I had my fair amount of victories and defeats, enough to build up an opinion about him and I stand with him being in the "lower performance but balanced" state, he is an ADC that needs to execute and peels in combination with his team instead of going trishotting ppl like Vayne or brusing them up as GP. It might not be good enough for the actual meta, ppl still need to get a good grip on him and against him (though it seems easier to counter him rather than winning as him). I'd like to see some professional play to see how much potential he has.
