AD has so much more penetration opions than AP

AP currently has: AD currently has: (this one can stack with the lethality items unlike which doesnt stack with )

Note that doesnt just penetrate armor, it reduces it. This means that ALL AD champs on your team benefit from this.

Its just unfair that AD gets way more penetration options than AP does.

Theres also only 4 more armor items than there are magic resist (counting only the ones available in Summoners Rift) which is an unfair penetration item to defense item ratio.

Magic Pen Items; Magic Resist Items ratio: 3:22 Armor Pen Items; Armor Items ratio: 7:26

Clearly you can see that this is unfair and we need more Magic Pen items.

Let's make a deal: you get all the LW items and all the lethality items, we get Void staff and the boots, k? On second thought, Void staff alone is enough.

Moral of the story: lethality is trash and Void staff >>>>> LW items.

50/42% pen is easy to hit, dealing literal true damage to anyone that doesn't build mr

base armor scales faster more champs gain armor per level (melee) and auto attacks are a cheaper more frequently used mechanic than abilities causing them to be stronger.

base armor also scales way higher than base MR so... yeah... even if you add every single armor pen item (that you can actually build aka 6 at most) and rune+mastery you wouldn't be able to deal true damage to everyone in the game whereas if you combine every single magic pen item, rune and mastery you would be dealing true damage to everyone in the entire game (assume no one builds any extra armor or MR)

Oh yeah, except for the fact that we have 0 Ar pen / Lethality boots, while AP's do, and we have no AD sight stone variant, for when all our team mates are too fuckign dumb to help with vision. Check your privilege.

AP doesnt have a sight stone either. Unless you're counting that 25 AP bs item that can only be bought by full supports. This is about penetration. And you AD people completely beat us in it. Stop taking other things into the equation. This is just about pen.

Honestly, Void Staff is the end all for penetration. It's just so good.

You didn't mention item 3091 , the Magic Resistance Reduction item.

And item 3135 is really strong. It might not lead to diverse AP builds, since any time any opponent buys any Magic Resistance item, you need to buy Void Staff, but it keeps AP champions from being countered too hard by Magic Resistance.

True, i did forget about that, but its not really an item you can build on an AP champ except maybe Kayle. Its only an attack-speed tank item like Warwick or Irelia.
