Hello, i was thinking that the new is most ad-friendly because of it's new stats . Wouldn't be better if it had 40 ad + 40 ap + passive? just an idea ...

For real though they are trying to separate Zhonya/Stoneplate/GA between their intended users. It's not like the AD is completely useless for anyone if they need a GA.

but zonyas and G.A are way to different zonyas makes you not taking damage/cc for 2.5 secs G.A makes you revive once , it's not the same bro

Zhonya's is AP, has armor, and buys time, during which you are invulnerable/untargetable. GA is AD, has armor, and buys time, during which you are invulnerable/untargetable.

In both cases the enemy team groups around you to kill you once the effect ends.

They're intentionally pushing it as an adc item. It doesn't make sense for them to add AP to it with that in mind.

No. Mages are usually meant to get their burst damage out then kite away, so the GA passive makes no sense.

what do you mean? not all mages are burst
also the passive is useful for all champions including supports

If it has AP and AD it would only be viable on hybrid champions as it would be too inefficient on everyone else - or, when viable for everyone, too OP for hybrids.

Riot tried to create an AP version of the item, but it turned out that people either didn't buy it at all (when too weak) or bought it in addition to Zhonyas (too obnoxious).

I just want to say that I find it sad, that carries will complain about a defensive utility being out of their reach, because the stats arn't right. (In the pro scene, mid lane will still buy QSS, despite the fact that it only builds into an AD item)

While on the same token, supports who job is to not care about stats. Will pick up Redemption and locket regardless if the stats align. And we just complain about that too.

mages are going to get banshee + zhonya. melee will take the other one. Or you can just take it as a mage if you used to take it.it's just a better item .
