Does rapid firecannon works with melee?

You can orb walk with melee champions too. Does it work? If energized attacks works on towers, wht Kayle E doesn't?

It works with Melee, but it only adds 35%, he % being the big thing. The only melee users that can really use it are the ones with range bonuses or high ranges, such as maybe Mordekaiser, Aatrox, and such. Turret range is 800. If Kayle E range plus 35% is more than that, you can outrange the turret for one basic attack.
