Is Cheating in League of Legends legal and will I get banned? Cheating is 100% legal in any country in the world. Since there are really no game-breaking cheats available for LOL, Riot is not all that concerned with banning cheaters. You will not get banned , unless you use farming bots to level or scripts at an official Riot event in front of an audience.

I laughed so hard when I read this. Do people actually believe they have done no wrong by using scripts?

They are correct in saying that it is legal in any country, though. Countries have nothing to do with video game rules, so you won't be arrested by the authorities.

If you buy a game (even for "no money") they usually give you the right to use it, but not the right to copy or MODIFY it. This means that you can get a copyright punishment.

Some hacks (drop hacks) are also real crimes because they damage the network infrastructure of a company.

Pretty easy to find the site and ironically it was a bot-site. Hopefully, very few people fall for that. (As a sidenote, it's weird that they don't acknowledge the known other types of cheating that have occurred in the past.)

I have done that before, especially for games that I really like. It lets me see first-hand what I can expect from cheaters and hackers. Also gives a little giggle when you read statements like these that try to get you to buy the product or use it.

Also, you can forward the company/product to Riot support and let them see what they can do about. If they can see how hackers hack, they can create protections against it.
