All we see is Leona/Thresh/Blitz and the only keepaway champion who does anything against them - Janna

We have been seeing nothing but Leona and Thresh for literally 18 months

I guess Naut on the rise is pretty cool but tells you a lot about the problems that tank supports dominate the support pool can we see the same treatment to supports like you did to junglers, give the poke/sustain/hybrid champions some airtime instead of being a liability because they can't fill as many roles as tank supports do

It's because item 3097 is far and away the best support item.

Especially in solo Q where your adc might be terrible at last hitting, at least you can make sure they get the cannon minion.

I don't think people enjoyed the sustain and poke meta, did you see the QQ the about Soraka and Sona during their haydays?

You mean 2 champions who were reworked to not be only sustain champions? there is no reason why these 2 champions should be kept as liability picks, Sona focuses on damaging the enemy now while providing team utility and Soraka can CC with more potential now

and Lulu is just a wreck of a champion because waaaaah toplane

I object! I love playing Lulu support still; Whimsy is insanely awesome, and 2-second slows are nothing to sneeze at either.

I don't have any mana problems at all when playing support. I run half mana regen, half armor runes, and it's working just fine for me.

maybe it is just me, and i play her badly since I play this game much much less then I used to but still, I don't think I have seen another Lulu player in over 3 months

She's got one of the most fantastic single-target saves in the entire game. Shield + ult + crucible is amazing. They can keep nerfing her AP scaling all they want, I barely build any anyways.

i been seeing many just playing ap or even 2x adc bot lane, no one even plays support any more as they kinda useless unless the 3 you mentioned above. since grabbing an enemy and dragging them to you is practically a free kill.

The only reason why Nautilus is seeing a rise in popularity, and I wish I was being ironic is because his hook actually phases through minions. That, coupled with Undertow and his passive makes him one of the heaviest, if not the heaviest CC champ in the game.

i made a post about the same thing a month ago. I guess Riot just want bot to be tanky supports :/ wich i Dislike cuz leona hurts for a tank early...and tresh is like the go to bot lane. Blitz has always been there.

Hey! I play Janna, yes, but it has nothing to do with being a counter to any particular opponent. I just play Janna because she's fun for me; her defensive playstyle fits me perfectly, because I prefer saving allies rather than causing kills. I play Lulu for the same reason; I love denying kills to the enemy team.

The same reason I like to play Sona, I enjoy playing her only with the current setup of actual support items she has to her disposal its either have a very boring game of no impact or build full AP and be a 1 trick pony all game

but I can only play so many games where you get matched against Leona or Blitz and that's it, no matter if you are much more skilled then them or even if you somehow smash them in lane, later on they will fulfill a much more active role then you ever could

Play ap bard. By far my favorite support thus far. I've only been beaten...if I remember right, by a Braum support in ranked. Leona and blitz couldn't touch me. Haven't been able to test against thresh
