Unpopular Opinion: Remove Rengar's W healing

Riot, look, if you're not going to nerf his damage the least you could do is remove this dumb mechanic.

An assassin like Rengar should not be able to survive an entire damage rotation to then further heal it all back up. This is like Pyke's passive but you don't need to be out of vision. If you're gonna revert his rework, do it completely. Old Rengar never had this bullshit and it was balanced as it was. It used to give temporary armor and magic resist based on the amount of enemy champions hit which allowed him to tank a bit of damage before being taken down. You can keep his CC cleanse but for god's sakes, just please take him out of the top lane.

So you're saying remove this because you believe this is what keeps him being picked in the top lane. LOL. You do realize Rengar was a top lane pick way before the rework, right? Rengar mains literally play him top lane instead of jungle because it's more fun and a challenge.

He is very much playable without this mechanic. I don't think you're aware of how the meta is revolving right now. Rengar is already killing people under a second, he doesn't deserve a compensation buff at all.

Akali's juking people left and right and murdering people under a second. All assassins can do this in under a second. Qiyana can nuke an entire team in under a second. Late game karthus can damn near kill the entire enemy team with press of 1 button.

Problem is people are playing incorrectly against snowball champions then complaining when they feed them and get stomped by them. Oh, a Riven can delete a full ad Rengar if they don't have the reactions of a slug. Darius can push Rengar out of lane at level 1 if he has a brain. Renekton can outrade Rengar at level 3 if he uses brain.
