Reminder that Veigar E is incredibly op

This spell literally wins games and has the effectiveness of an ultimate. It's so easy to land, and sets up Veigar's whole combo entirely. His crazy damage is fine because he is a burst mage, but the utility on this stun is just too much.. lasts too long, too easy to hit, hits multiple people, sets up his teammates extremely well too. I remember being so frustrating losing games to fed Veigars over and over, that I decided to try him myself. Went against a Talon, and every lane lost but me. I farmed it out without dying once because of how safe the stun made me. Eventually I deleted them one by one and carried every lane to victory. He has noticable mana problems but it's outweighed by how useful his kit is past laning phase. Especially that (pretty much) point and click long *ss multi stun Banshee's veil is the only thing I can think of that stands up to Veigar which is more of a late game final item. Qss only has one charge, not enough to save you from Event Horizon's 20/15 second cooldown.

It also doesn't last long enough to get his full burst out at low levels and has a HEFTY mana cost. If he casts it from max range it takes him too long to waddle into range of his Q and R to deal his burst while you're still stunned, and it can actually be pretty easy to avoid provided you don't make the mistake of chasing him for an extended period of time and give him enough time to get it back up off cooldown. It isn't a point and click stun, because he has no guarantee it'll hit someone unless they stand on one of the walls where he's casting it, or if they make the mistake of walking into it.

If you're taking more than the time it takes an Event Horizon to come off of cooldown to kill a glass cannon like Veigar, he deserves to get the kill first.

All very real flaws, but when you consider that the first squishy caught in it instantly dies, well, that reward is too great for how effortless his burst is to land subsequently after the e cast. I disagree on one of your points. After very early laning, Event Horizon gives plenty of time for Veigar's full combo. It's just too effective at picking people off when out of position.

Holy crap. Unless Veigar's Jungler camps mid the lane is a free range for Talon.

So..Talon E has no counter play but Veigar E does.

Cutthroat - 1 second targeted silence, 1 person OP

Event horizon - Scaling stun from 1.5s - 2.5s, AOE and ranged OK

And they both have immense burst. Rito pls.
