AD Fizz is dead?

Ever since this patch I've faced only one AD Fizz.

However I was using one of his hardest counters (Garen) so I would won regardless of the nerfs happening or not.

However, that is not what I am intending to say. What I want to ask is: Is AD Fizz really dead, or people are just overreacting to the nerfs (as if they completely gutted AD Fizz, when they actually weren't THAT bad)?

Not really. People seem to forget that AD Fizz still did alot of damage WITHOUT his ult. And losing 20% off your Autos (The only physical damage you were actually doing) Isn't really that big a deal when you consider Fizz's ult is used on one of two targets, somebody getting caught out or a squishy. I think AD Fizz is fine and people need to chill out. Your skills still do magic damage, so they still get amped. It's not as big a damage nerf as they think

People are overreacting. "Jbels" is correct in that the amplification on the ult was a very small percentage of his dps. Honestly, I see Fizz as another Jax, someone with great hybridized dps who doesn't need a lot to get going (just tons of damage). In fact, I want to play AD more now that people aren't. :)

Full AD Fizz probably is however bruiser Fizz with items like item 3078 item 3748 item 3022 etc could still be good.

It was a most significant nerf to fighter fizz.

My damage breakdown was roughly 50-50 between physical-magical damage before. Without half of my damage being multiplied by 20% when I go for the kill that's a noticeable decrease. The loss is really felt going for carries late game or against beefier targets in general, such as the juggernauts that appeared recently. In conjunction with the lower base damage on W Fizz can no longer matchup to bruisers easily at all which is perhaps as it should be. Prenerf Fizz would start to outscale most champions right in the middle of the game when he maxes his really powerful W around 9 if he isn't killing them at 6... It is MUCH MUCH more difficult for fighter Fizz now that his powerspike has been neutered. However top lane Fizz may still have value against squishy top laners (nobodies running those at the moment), or just purely based on the fact he is so slippery. Maybe a more ap-hybrid build is the most viable setup now...

I do know ap focused runeglaive jungle fizz is pretty effective still though...

AP runeglaive jungle Fizz was viable before. It was actually stronger before since with higher base damages, Fizz could clear camps much easier.

I still enjoy it in the jungle, the devourer is INSANE on him
