New CC: Mana-freeze

Champion's mana bar is 'frozen' and cannot regenerate or be filled (RIP Soraka). Champion also cannot use abilities that require mana until it's over.

except the real silence is "OP" and being removed or nerfed from anything, so maybe we can have a weaker alternative

You call this a weaker alternative? Mana Burn would better than this.

Better in that it stops mana regeneration and mana heals (which outside a summoner spell no one takes, doesn't exist) and that's it.

It doesn't affect manaless champions, it doesn't affect abilities with 0 mana cost, it's basically a worse silence that works against a selective amount of champions (many of which aren't problematic because of mana, but rather their kits.)

It's been removed on lots of champions because it was too reliable, lacked counterplay and many of them would basically have guaranteed kills if they landed it (Kassadin, Talon, Leblanc are all assassins, Silence kills any attempt at escaping from these mobile champions, moreso since they were click silences.)

Honestly, surprised Fiddlesticks hasn't been completely reworked, he has a click silence and a click fear, he wins almost any duel, and is next to impossible to fight as a melee champion.

and we both know that wont happen. Think about it for a minuet not everyone uses mana or even a source at all such as gnar and tryn so a silence is the best option.
