Should I get Jarvin, Nautilus or someone else?

I play Sion top. I like his cc and range. I'm looking for a tank/fighter with good engage and some range.

I'm thinking JarvanIV or Nautilus , but I'm open to suggestions as I'm learning top lane.

Thankx, CrimosonDawn77

Nautilus is a personal favorite of mine, but J4 is on my wish list...

Nautilus is more reliable, but J4 is more exciting...

I like Naut more mainly because each time I play tank J4 I feel like I'm not tanky enough, not to mention his swag flag combo can be tricky in situations to knock someone up or to cc them while with Nautalis you just hit Q.

You can play tank with Nautalis but still do insane amount of dmg with just his Riptide if your enemy or enemies get too close to you. More cc from Nautalis also a stun passive slow E and a unavoidable ult that unlike J4's ult you can't just flash out of; once Naut ults you you have no where to run unless you have Zhonyas.

Nautilus CC is just his auto attack as well w/ only a 5 sec CD!

Honestly I don't really know what CC really is I know the meaning Crowd Control but I personally always think of it as anything that slows or stuns.
I did say "stun Passive" " slow E" and "unavoidable ult" so someone can identify each of his abilities. His passive does root you /Stun I suppose but his ult does stun/root someone in place as they get knocked up in the air.

But in any case my bad

No I sometimes leave out words when I type on my phone, "Nautilus **best **CC is just his auto attack as well w/ only a 5 sec CD!"

It was my bad not yours...

Don't sweat it dude, but hey with this discussion I think we got CrimsonDawn77 to make up his mind on which champion to get next ;]. Happy Holidays laters!

How about Maokai . He has a good engage with his W, a solid tank stats with heal-passive. He has some range on his E. I started my toplane career with Mao, and moved to Sion from him and the transition felt pretty smooth.

Out of J4 and Nautilus, I'd recommend Nautilus. But I got him to mastery by playing support so I am biased. :P

Maokai is my favorite top lane champ! He's a beast of a tree!

As a Sion main I can say that Nautilus hits some familiar notes and is pretty fun to use
