Best non-meta or trolling builds?

Hello, when we happen to be 5 people on Skype, we sometimes want to have fun and play non-meta strategies (all mid and the likes). When alone, this is impossible, but with a team of people who like the idea this is fun. It's also a lesson for enemy teams - LoL is supposed to be strategy game, not some fighter emulator.

With this in mind I'd also like to ask you what your favorite non-standars boulds are, which we could use.

On thing I do (even in solo queue) is Rylai's crystal scepter on Dr. Mundo - but that's not trolling, that's quite effective. I've also seen Yassuo with and he pwned with it as hell. There were ages of AP , but these are probably gone :(

AP Aatrox : 60% AP scaling on E. 100% AP scaling on Ult item 3020 item 3115 item 3100 item 3089 item 3146 item 3135 also item 3143 item 3065 item 3157 item 3091 item 3124

He becomes a burst mage. You Q in, then Ult and melt them, finish with Lich Bane proc and E.

AP Varus : 25% AP on-hit on W, +2% per 100 AP (max 6% per 100) on detonate. 100% AP scaling on Ult. item 3020 item 3115 item 3100 item 3085 item 3089 item 3135 Nashor's Tooth and Runaan's Hurricane are essential. The additional on-hit magic damage and the % health damage from detonating blight is your main source of damage, and your ult will do an insane amount as well.

AP MissFortune : 35% AP scaling on first target, 50% AP scaling on second target on Q. 80% AP scaling on E. 20% AP scaling per wave on Ult. item 3020 item 3115 item 3100 item 3089 item 3151 item 3157 Main damage comes from E and Ult, dealing a ton of DoT damage

AP Shen : 60% AP scaling on Q. 60% AP scaling on W. 50% AP scaling on E. 135% AP scaling on Ult. item 3111 item 3116 item 3027 item 3091 item 3151 item 3157 also item 3001 item 3075 It makes all of your abilities stronger, but the best part is your ult, you will shield an enemy for 250-800 +135% AP

AD Kennen : 40-80% AD every 5th attack on W. item 3006 item 3087 item 3153 item 3031 item 3035 item 3072 also item 3124 item 3146 item 3046 He has decent range and attack speed, but the main thing with AD Kennen is his W's passive, dealing magic damage based on his AD every 5th attack.

AP Gangplank (will update)

item 3042 + Syndra : Single target spells and attacks (on hit) consume 3% of current Mana to deal bonus physical damage equal to twice the amount of Mana consumed. Which means that each of Syndra 's Dark Spheres on her Ult will proc this, dealing 3% of current mana(x2) x5 additional damage.

try the full stealth team Teemo Twitch Shaco MonkeyKing Evelynn teemo is the ward everyone else is the ganker.

or any of these to have a summoners comp (heimerdinger as a top contender) Malzahar Yorick Azir Elise Maokai Zyra this comp the hidden power that you get is pretty ridiculous.

ofc the GA team Aatrox Yorick Anivia Zilean Zac everyone gets GA just remember to build damage otherwise this comp sucks balls. 3rd or 4th item should be GA thats were you have the team fights and were GA can have the biggest impact.

the full macho build (take this team only if everyone has the comando skin) Galio Garen Lux XinZhao JarvanIV ghost and teleport for maximum mobility and map controll. remember you can teleport on J4 pole.

garen and lux on botlane garen full tank and herpa derp spin2win while lux farms her stacks on that book thingy.

Galio ult + lux ult then in that chaos J4 xin and garen jump on the carry and have a gangbang party (who is gonna stop all that manliness? no one thats right cuz lux vaporized them)

the shadow isle team

Mordekaiser Evelynn Elise Karthus Yorick Hecarim Thresh

this one would require tresh as adc (full ad btw rush infin and BT first) hecarim for the mayhem and yorrick does surprisingly well as a support (total early game dominance is the key here) if you get essence reaver on him for mana sustain (early damage early sustain early CDR rush this you will not regret) and then goes tanky then you have a choice of elise morde eve and hecarim for either jungle or top. morde is a nice pick for top to get the ghost which you can time with Karthus ult to get the max benefit. but then eve sorta falls off as a jungler since you need more CC to make up for morde this is all a pick and choose whats your favorite champ here. you can't go wrong with hecarim jungle in any scenario though.

AD mal, fiddles or TF.

Malzahar 's voidlings attack is a 1:1 with his attack ratio. Fiddlesticks Will win any 1v1 with an AD with his fear. TwistedFate His pick a card stacks with AD.

Mid Lane MF MissFortune AP

Max E first and focus on waveclear, can play aggressively or ultra passive and just tower farm really well. Basically just E every wave, use Q to finish off and poke. As well as this you can use the E to slow as you run away when ganked and still do decent enough damage to stop people coming back. Works similar to Ezreal Blue Build but with more AoE and less poke damage then work in a bit of AD later for some mixed damage if wanted.

Jungle Lissandra AP

All that potential in lane ganks for sticking someone down... can't really believe many people don't use it in all honesty but it does rely on a decent laner to capitalize on the gank. Level up same as laning, start gromp and gank early if you can, for this to work you really need a decent leash and possibly support/defence masteries for the extra pot and lifesteal.

Ganking lane is a case of E into lane, hit W to freeze laner, Q, R, Q and by this point they are usually dead.... Unless your laner your ganking for goes AFK like genuinely happens to me.

Please note: Morello isn't really 100% needed unless you are getting counter jungled and your blue is being taken... which is a pain.

Any non-fighter that isn't glass at this point is becoming "non-meta."

Anivia : item 3020 item 3027 item 3174 / item 3003 item 3089 item 3001 / item 3157 item 3151 . Why is this not a more common type of build? You don't need the highest achievable AP for damage to be worth getting. The growing idea that people seem to have that you must be able to 100-0 someone in a single burst in order to be a viable damage dealer is insanity.

AP Varus

At 1,000 AP (which with masteries and full AP build, isn't that hard to get) blight and his ultimate to ridiculous amounts of damage.

With a item 3115 and the arcane blade mastery, his AA's do an extra 491 magic damage (41 + 45% of 1,000 AP)

With 3 stacks of blight, casting a spell on your target will do magic damage equal to 75% of the target max health (15% + 6% of 1,000 AP)

Your ultimate does 1,350 (350 + 100% of 1,000 AP) damage to every target it touches.

Think about it. 3 Auto's stack up for 1500 dmg, and then you pop the 3 stacks for 75% of their max health, but you pop it with your ult that does an additional 1400 dmg.

AD/Magic Pen Shyvana item 3146 item 3153 item 3074 item 3020 item 3135 + A defensive Item Press W and enjoy the kill. Just stand next to them and do damage with W (scales AD, does magic damage), and stay alive with Spellvamp.

Since the smite charge change, this is a team comp that works very well:

Duo top, duo bot, one mid. Both duo lanes have an adc and support. Both supports take smite and relic shield. Here's an example team:

Vayne Alistar summoner 11 Top Azir (or any standard AP) Mid Ezreal Blitzcrank Bot

Start by giving each adc a buff. Supports then walk to lane and lane with their adcs until they have 2 smite charges up. Then they go to the jungle and take two camps (in your jungle or the enemy jungle -- it's especially nice because you can invade the side that you know the enemy jungler isn't on). Make sure you use your relic shield charges before you leave lane. Then they come back to lane and use their relic shield charges again. Usually this is enough gold to go B and buy item 3706 (and sometimes item 3097 too).

Next, bot goes directly back to lane, because if bot doesn't stay in lane their adc is going to have a rough time. Top supp has a little more freedom to take another camp, gank mid, gank bot, or take drag.

Works best if the top adc scales well, and if both adcs can deal with being alone in lane for a little. Corki Caitlyn Ezreal Tristana Lucian Vayne are all good choices.

AP Zed No Ap scaling however his ult scales on ALL damage that Zed himself deals including Active items item 3158 Gonna need these. item 3146 The Active scales 40% with your ap item 3285 For the passive thing item 3089 For more burst item 3100 Great for the lich bane(sheen) effect, low cd abilities high burst. item 3115 Converts a percent of your Ap into basic attack damage and gives good attack speed. Really good for pushing towers. This Build actually works really good. Found it out myself. Basically wanna ult, gunblade auto e and... They dead. I achieved 38/4 With this build so yea. Enjoy. Might even be better than Ad Zed

You build item 3031 item 3094 or item 3087 and then boots ( I like item 3117 . Use your mobis to run up to the enemy adc, ult them, 1 AA and then go back to your ult shadow :) Could swap mobis for item 3147 lategame I guess

I do this every now again, those are basically the core items I build on her, you can 1v1 most top laner champs if you play it smart, however I'd recommend waiting for jungler to gank, give them the kill and let them snowball.

If you have 5 people there are some really fun team comps you can build.

All support:

Leona (top/jg) Alistar (Top/jg) Sona (Mid AP/ADC) Janna (Mid/ADC) you get the idea.

It makes a generally unkillable team with mad cc and general utility.

My personal favorite: Pull Team

pick and arrange: Nautilus Blitzcrank Thresh Darius Diana Skarner for super pulls, i could see running Kalista but i havent done pull team since she came out. But nonetheless, it is great fun dragging people from the mid map to the fountain.

I was experimenting with AD Blitz a while ago (he's got a crazy AS steroid and a low cooldown 2.0 AD ratio on his E), not sure how well it works (his E animation is really awkward) but it was pretty interesting to try.

One of my favorites that I never used (and will never get to use) is DFGaren. Rip :(

Next two items were item 3115 and one of item 3001 item 3135 or item 3146 .

(Nemesis Draft, I gave them Nidalee , and that person gave me Eve and then traded for Rumble... I beat Nid in mid lane)

Note: after some amount of AP, item 3115 gives more burst than flat AP now that E applies on hit effects.
