This is a problem, because he's getting away with it on his smurf.

People get offended over the dumbest shit. Being neutral toward people is often misconstrued as negativity. Even if I tell someone, "Please don't do that" or "Please take flash" they immediately retaliate.

THANK YOU. YOU UNDERSTAND. YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I'M FRUSTRATED NOW!

It's not even like I said "That was an awful gank," or "You're bad." "I said don't dive turret." and "It wasn't worth, because she's more fed than me now."

That's because you're implicitly attacking their judgment. I liken it to dealing with a child. Even if you're completely right, yelling "NO" can still make the child cry and throw a tantrum. All ranked players are children. :)

Yes, but it doesn't give them the right to AFK. Nobody should have that right, you on the other hand think they should, which is why I think you're very wrong.

I have no problem with AFKers who AFK because they're subject to verbal abuse or harrassment. No one should have to put up with that. It's not healthy for them to continue playing in such an environment. This is just a game after all.

Frame your criticisms or 'advice' in a more positive light and you'll have fewer issues with causing people to AFK.

But it wasn't verbal abuse or harassment. Why don't you understand this? Giving somebody advice over the internet can't be determined as good or bad, because you don't know. Unless it's something like blatantly obvious (usually has curse words, or mean comments) you can't even tell. Mine was a neutral comment I made to this guy, so he wouldn't do it. I wasn't like "Can you pretty please not gank under the turret, it hurts my feel goods." but I didn't say "Shit gank, get cancer." I literally just said, "Don't dive the turret, it wasn't worth because it made my lane harder."

In your view it wasn't abuse or harassment. And that's the point...it's your view. You have no clue what those other four people on your team are going through in life or in LOL. You don't know if they take everything personally, you don't know if they're vengeful and will take satisfaction in screwing you over, you don't know if they had a toxic player in their previous game and don't want to go through it again. You just don't know.

And that is why your best bet is always to be positive. Your comments may seem neutral to you, but they may not seem neutral to the person on the receiving end. In fact, if that person knows they screwed up, you're just rubbing salt in their wounds by mentioning it. I know you don't really care about them and think they should toughen up, but since the decision to AFK is entirely in their hands, you should cater to them.

tl;dr Be more positive, or in the alternative, say nothing.

So what you're saying, is because they were upset from my comments, they have the right to AFK, which I still don't agree with. Especially since they aren't offensive to the common majority, I understand some people will just get offended easily, but it doesn't give them the right to AFK, he literally could have just muted me if he didn't want to hear it.

Being positive in a losing game isn't easy, it just really isn't. If my comments against aren't neutral to the guy receiving he could A. just mute me or B. tell me that he finds them offensive or w/e. He obviously didn't know he screwed up because he thought it was worth to dive turret, and get first blood, but feed my lane opponent a kill too. And I shouldn't have to cater to the minority of people who think it's okay to AFK, or people who get upset easily, because the majority of people know how the mute button works if it hurt their feelings or they don't want to hear me talk, or don't afk at all.

noone cares about the people you make ragequit

stop being toxic and verbally abusive and they wont leave

LegacyDAP1 votes

Right, because I made him RQ. I said maybe 2 or 3 things to him prior, around the lines of "don't do that, whyd you dive the turret." "Stop going in solo you're just feeding Diana." "Don't gank me."

King of Mongoose2 votes

those are examples of verbal abuse and microagression.

LegacyDAP1 votes

You're a really good troll. Seriously, how in any way is that verbal abuse or microagression, you can't even tell over the internet.

Alakalzam1 votes

You should try being more positive if you want to give people advice. Those examples are pretty aggressive.

LegacyDAP2 votes

me: "don't dive turret" guy: "worth" me: "not really, it made my lane harder" sorry that's too aggressive for you LoL community. I guess I'm just made of steel, and don't get triggered by what somebody else thinks of me and how I play over the internet.
