I really don't think there is a large difference between most silver players and most bronze players.

Silver II and I are typically pretty decent mechanically with their main, and that's when you begin to see some separation.

Silver is a HUGE division with A LOT of players (I think currently the most) that vary in skill.

Trends I have noticed from my smurfing:

Neither division knows how to play from behind
They want to quit too soon
Feeding occurs because they don't know how to play from behind - they die 2x in a row often
Players can carry but if the team doesn't rally around them they will throw
A prioritization of kills over objectives
Low vision in Silver and almost nonexistent vision in Bronze

In Bronze, players mis-position more often and are on the wrong side of the map at critical points in the game (e.g. the jungler is on the bottom half of the map post-30 minutes when a baron is up).

I will say to the people that ask "does it get better?" in higher divisions I can say with certainty it does. Players in Gold typically don't always prioritize kills, they understand that they can play from behind, AND rarely does heavy feeding occur. Typically, a gold caliber player doesn't die more than 2x in early laning.

The bot lane can still be a mess in Gold though. Gold V is sometimes a mixed bag with a lot of Silver players still not understanding that primitive strategies and tactics do not necessarily work against better players. I think that it is just an adjustment that they have to make by playing in Gold.

I think it stabilizes in Gold IV and Gold III.

it might as well be.

i had an akali go 1/8 against veigar mid 0/8 yi jungle 0/13 combined botlane that was last game

game before that? jungler forgot smite mid went 2/6 top went 1/7 against nasus us botlaners held our own until the feds tower dived us

they're the same god damn thing in this season. i blame dynamic queue and high ranked players taking advantage of queuing with garbage bronzes

do your best to not blame anyone else even if it is their fault bc being a team game it doesnt help anyone to throw blame. just keep working towards your goals. I will make it out of bronze before halloween. set goals for yourself and stick to them. I have a negative win rate yet im rising anyways bc bronze is literally just troll. I main jg/supp so it can be hard to rise bc Im always relying on others to carry. dont worry about your past games bc you will have better teams soon enough.

The other day I played with a bunch of golds who fed the entire game. Boosted obviously. Also know several players that are silver, but have the understanding and mechanics of a bronze 5 player. Rank doesn't mean jack this season, sadly.

I barely play ranked because I don't enjoy it, but I love getting paired with silver/golds who can't even buy a freaking pink ward. Especially bot lanes seem to excell at pushing with zero wards up then blaming the jng when they get ganked.
