I'm just looking for some general opinions on the state of Trynd and whether people think he is fair/balanced, OP, and/or Broken.

Thanks guys and i appreciate all feedback

He isn't unbalanced, he is just a bit frustrating to play against. I'd put Aatrox in the same group as him. His passive is probably just as BS, if not more than Trynds, to the point you wish they never existed, but that alone isn't going to win them games.

It's his ult that gives him the ability to 1 man splitpush fieldtrip all the way to the inhib, but he really isn't that special otherwise. He has sustain, but it can be shut out from him by never letting him hit anything.

hes pretty balanced but you just need to stop him from split pushing 24/7

here is an idea.. rework him as an adc and make his ult a aoe circle instead of just on himself. and put him in a lamb suit.

Pick Nasus, get Frozen Heart, Max W after Q. To give an example.

Other than that he is pretty straightforward. Easy to deal with, easy to understand. But whining will just keep you from actually becoming better at the game.

Not sure why Tryndamere is so baaaad.

Toxic and broken, how this champion is allowed to exist in the modern game when all Riot is talking about is healthy gameplay patterns and clear vulnerability windows; i'll never know.

He's a niche pick. He's a non-tank top laner (or jungler) who has very little to contribute to team fights; he's a split pusher. While he suffers from his squishiness and generally gets kited and destroyed by AOE slows in teamfights, he's very difficult to 1v1 unless you have some way to burst him down to force his ult and disengage until it ends. Much like split-pushing Nasus, Tryndamere forces his enemies to make a choice: Send a group top to deal with him and risk losing objectives elsewhere, or let him split push and take advantage of the 4v5 situation (or, less common, you could send one of your own champions to split push the other side lane)

The only problem with this is that it's feast or famine. If Tryndamere falls behind and some mobile champion on the enemy team CAN 1v1 him, he becomes obsolete. He can't team fight and he can't split push without being picked off. He's not imbalanced so much as he is highly polar since he can only fill 1 role well, and is next to worthless if he can't fill that role.

He's dumb because he literally does not have to leave top lane other than to shop. He's not overpowered, he's broken. If you send 2 top to stop him, then any decent team will take a tower or two from you, or will win a 4v3 team fight. There are literally only a couple of champs that can prolong his split pushing and that's a Shen with teleport, Malphite with teleport, or Jax with Teleport. But Malph is a team fight champ and having go top all game to stop Trynd is dumb as well.

He's so obnoxius to play against. The 35% free crit allows him to snowball a game with a lucky early trade (or conversely bait him into taking a fight where he doesn't crit in several autos and loses). The manaless sustain and dash make him very difficult to gank. His ultimate and w make him really hard to duel (almost impossible, in fact). His ult also lets him easily tank towers and split bush away your whole base or at least repeatedly kill your top laner late game. He's balance right now because he needs a lot of items to be strong and teams have enough cc for him in 5 v 5s to not let him wreck everyone with his ult, but he's still awful to play against top lane or in general late game.

Tryndamere's damage needs to be toned down. His crit reliance needs to be normalised into a bruiser level.
