Balance Discussion for Every Single Champion

I was thinking about doing a Thread for every single champion in the game to discuss their balance and any buffs or nerfs I Think they need. Each champion would get their own thread and I would spend a good amount of time on each to make sure I satisfy all the mains of all of the different champions out there. Each Thread would definitely be open for discussion and ideas.

Do you guys think this would be a good idea or no?

This would probably take me up to two weeks

you'd never reach a middle ground with all the uneducated players that know nothing of the champion being on the threads crying

With the hivemind on the boards? No thanks. Plus your threads on Riven or Vayne would never take off because people would downvote you for having the gall to even start a conversation on them without just calling them OP to upvote farm.

Nice Idea, but maybe not all Champions at once, first month mage, second month Bruiser, third month ADC ....

You think you could do that in as little as tow weeks?! O.o I think it's a great idea... Good luck with that... XD

Pretty good idea!

Just in case for further increasing quality of your discussions:

Always, ALWAYS have in mind more than 1 build. For example Tristana AD & AP. If possible add some solutions on how to fix 1 side without nerfing/OPing other.

I've got a master thread which keeps track of every topic I felt like posting about which comes up often. I got some shit for that, but your idea sound like it would be even bigger as i have maybe two dozen thread right now and you would have over a hundred.

For reference:

That will be too much threads tbh. A lot would be let down along the way.

How about you target the most controversial champs in this season, going through reworks on champs to see how they have been improved or nerfed. You could see the major item changes, major nerfs and buffs, as well as commenting on the meta champs. So that would be stuff like: Mordekaiser Garen Fiora Gangplank MissFortune (barely, asdf)DariusSkarner Or Shyvana MasterYi XinZhao Jax item 3710 And the Cinderhulk meta of Sejuani Amumu Gragas Chogath The brief uprising of champs Veigar Elise Urgot Ezreal How new champs affected the game Kindred TahmKench Ekko Bard Braum Really popular champs: Riven Vayne Azir Ahri

It would be a lot of work, but it would probably be less work than the amount of work as it takes to go over each champ.

How successful it would be? I dunno, depends what your metric of success is.

I'd enjoy it.

I think that would be a good idea, but I'm still worried about a couple of things.

Keeping track of them and giving all threads the same attention they deserve. Threads like Zed/Lee/Riven would be mostly about just learn to play/counter or nerf/OP/Cancer without much consideration about what the opposin party is saying.Maybe a poll could help? You could ask for personal opinions instead of just Balanced/OP/UP. Have many new disccusion a week have you thought of making? Like 3champions a week? How would you determine which champions go first?Maybe according to pickrate?Take the least played champion a from the start could give them more room for ideas how to improve them. Would those beonly balance ideas or mini-reworks aswell?

To be completely honest, it would be really interesting to read and see.

But there will be tons of people that will yell at you and disagree. And Riot won't really pay attention to it, because player based opinions, even unanimous, are statistically unreliable.

O_o seiously or just kidding?

Don't. Rito will change those champions faster than you can do this.

  1. That's a lot of threads and a lot of time.
  2. You're probably not going to reach an agreement with a lot of people on each topic.

If those don't bother you, go for it. I'm curious as to how you'd view Pantheon.
