Instead of "Mana/Energy = %", "Can cast Q,W,E,R"
% Mana tells zero information to the allies. Letting allies know you can cast xyz abilities does.

If they're low, and they tell you that they're low in this way, it means you probably shouldn't engage because they don't have the mana to really help you.
They're not mutually exclusive. It should just give more information to your allies than just looking at your screen does. It's meant to replace chat, and just by giving a % doesn't provide anything of value, despite what your 'intent' is.
