You know why so many champs are broken?

Because of the masteries. They are too strong and all need to be toned back except for maybe DFT, Windspeakers Blessing, Fervor of Battle (situationally strong), and Strength of the Ages. Meaning we have 5 keystones screwing with everyones power budgets: Thunderlord's (obvious reasons), Grasp of the Undying (tanks get free damage and sustain), Stormraider's (the reason Kench isn't allowed to be good), Bond of Stone (focusing someone doesn't matter if they get damage reduction for being near someone), Warlords (it's just stupid to get a free 20% lifesteal for being low on HP with 0 CD).

It's impossible to balance everyones kits when essentially you load into the game with about 1k extra gold already. We are basically starting with 500 + 2k gold instead of the old 450 + like 1k worth of masteries. You can't double the value of masteries then expect the game to turn out in an okay spot.

No that isn't how it works. Tell me how fun is the game right now? It really isn't. And was is before pre-season. Yes even though we were in the middle of Juggernaut hell. Everything still felt like they had places. Now its getting increasing hard to just balance champs by numbers. Its leading the team of higher CC, damage, and durability to win. There isn't much room for outplaying this season. Last season you could be hard countered but still kind of have a chance in lane, but this season it's almost hopeless.

Bumping everyones early game helps traditionally late game champs like KogMaw thrive. It also puts people like Zed Irelia Graves at their power spikes earlier which is usually a bad thing (you are supposed to be able to get ahead of them before they can spike).

It's not the masteryes... Thunderlord is strong, but when it's on cd you can safely get back at your opponent so it's not really op (exept on some rare cases like lux that can proc it while staying out of the range of most other champs); Bond of Sonte is not really that strong, I never see it on anyone but it's not that strong itself, the reduction is good, but it can't compare with the damage masteryes; Grasp of the Undying is good... as long as you're a tank and have a way to proc it more than once a fight (meaning survive more than 5 seconds in battle), also it will hardly save you unless you're ahead; Warlord is getting nerfed and anyway it's good only when you're low, it can also easily get outscaled by fervor early in the game and unless you build some other form of lifesteal it's usually not enough by itself later on since champs who like it tendo to be quite squishy; Stormraider it's just neutral, neither good nor bad, Tahm "isn't allowed to be good" because his kit is the epitome of toxicity, he should get some serious nerfs for him to be enabled to be good; Also Windpseaker is actually one of the strongest since it makes a healer's job far too easy, they have to spend less mana to heal an ally thanks to it meaning they can hardly run oom if they just heal and poke oncein a while.

I'll be honest, I rarely if ever notice grasp after laning phase.

It's hard to notice but think of it on people like Mundo. Around 4-5 items he's stealing about 120 hp per 4s which is an extra 30 DPS and extra 156 HP per 4s or 39 hp/s. Now that assumes getting every 4s, but he is also the tank that happens to just sit in your team wrecking havoc because of his crazy regen too. It isn't that noticable but it has a huge impact on team fights.
