From what I'm reading/seeing about Assassins...

Kat will be somewhat more complex and less face-rolly to play, Talon wont be an insta-gib anymore in exchange for a better passive and superb roaming, Rengo gets a free QSS and a somewhat weakened ult utility, Zed will counter Jhin in a way, Fizz will be rewarded for proper vision and aim, Leblanc will seem to be less toxic by extremely delaying her damage, Akali will kill you slower and not immediately (efficient to charge the magic damage portion of the passive) ...and so on.

All in all, I'm kinda bothered on how much slower Talon's W ends up being...anyone can just sidestep or even dash out of it within the timeframe it gives. Maybe I'm exaggerating but...anywho. The rest of the champs I would say are healthier to play and react to. Leblanc might need a smaller delay on her passive and/or the small cooldown to actually be viable, but all in all, decent changes all around.

Last I checked the Zed "update" was a nerf in disguise (which is unecessary)

Against a Jhin with 600 AD, it doesn't seem like one.

no shit

Did Zed get a new passive that makes the enemy pick Jhin?

Fizz will be rewarded for proper vision and aim,

Fizz is not yet rewarded for anything yet. Hitting the perfect scenario vs what you can do anytime live, the numbers are basically the same while anything less then that his numbers drop off sharply. In addition, he has his damage delayed while gaining no other tools except better mana management for lane. He is going to continually receive buffs for a bit to his PBE version. He is performing very poorly in that they've had to rush out a lot of buffs at once for him and have more prepped onboard and further possible ideas for additions to his kit if the current changes don't jump his numbers enough. Right now his lane is pretty poor and he gets through lane to have a pretty poor late game. At no time is he relevant unless he somehow snowballs from a noob player in mid.

What're you talking about? His ult gets a higher base damage entirely at max range. Why I said vision and aim.
