If a champion requires 5 billion things to be successful

It probably isn't good champion design.

Janna Succesfully balanced, nerfed every now and again because she is successful. Basic kit, easy life. A well developed kit that isn't toxic but still strong. She has a total of 6 thins in her kit. Knock up every 8-10 seconds (Assumption) a slow, a shield, healing ult that pushes people away and her passive is speed boost for only herself. At least I think that was what it was nerfed to.

Yasuo unsuccessfully balanced, somehow escaping nerfs more than Lulu and Janna. Has a knock up every 2.5 seconds, a dash every minion and every champion with a short cooldown. Can be used to prevent the enemy from dodging the knock up by spinning in a circle, he has a Q every second and it can actually go below a second to use. He has a shield that recharges quick and a wall that blocks all projectiles. Including an entire Tsunami. Because that is apparently a projectile that can be blocked. He has a knock up(D) ultimate that gives him extra penetration and deals really good base damage and scaling damage. He has an ability that lets him double his critical strike potential but his critical strikes do less damage. Because item 3031 and critical damage runes don't exist in this videogame. See the difference? Let me help you out and I'll give you another example.

Talon Successfully balanced, outshadowed by others that just make it impossible to compete with. Passive is 10% damage increase to distorted champions. Q is an empowered basic attack which causes bleeding. W is an AOE cleave. E is a port that slows and amplifies damage. R is invisibility and an AOE damage spike. This %%%%% has resources to worry about. And he don't have no silly escapes for when he blows his load and sighs in relief when he's dead.

Zed Unsuccessfully Units below 50% hp are delt additional damage caused by his passive, used for farming and execution champions. With a rather short cool down ratio of 10 seconds. Oh yeah, and it is bonus magic damage. Not physical damage. Q is a skillshot that can be in as many as 3 different directions, capable of hitting more than what is just in his original AOE unlike Talon. W is a gap closer that extends his range of damage for his Q and his E and can be used as an escape. His W also gives him a general AD steroid that never goes away and increases gold efficiency. E is a non channeling spin AOE damage attack, with the shadows slowing people while also dealing the same amount of damage. Zeds ultimate is him leaving the entire field of combat for counterplay and then reappearing while applying a mark that deals a percentage of the damage that Zed does to the target in physical damage AND magic damage. This dude can go in and get out in a snap, bye bye Talon! Smell you later m8. Outplayed.

TL;DR: These champions aren't OP. This post is about making a statement that if a champion needs 5 billion things to function just as well as another champion that only has 1 billion things. Big kits are fine but I really don't think Riot is capable of actually solving their problems, they truly don't have the heart in the game to solve the issues. If they did they would be apologizing to Morde mains, reverting changes and wouldn't have the problems that we at present have. How do you expect a person with only a shotgun to compete with a person only with a sword? You would have thought that after how many years Riot wouldn't make the same mistakes, over and over and over and over and over 5 years later and over and over and over again. Don't worry, by 2020 I believe that more than 20 champions will be viable at any given time, when they make every champion have 9 trillion things in one kit.

Loaded kits are very difficult to balance. But not impossible. Look at Nami. Her kit has a lot but she is all around fairly balanced.

It really depends on how the champion is designed. Yasuo is simply bad champion design.
