It's ridiculous how quiet her ult sound is compared to her base/other skins. Riot says they are committed to making skin gameplay easy to read and consistent (hence lancer blitz walk animation), so how did this get through???
Funny story, in playtesting we gave the feedback that her ult sound was wayyyy too loud. I haven't seen it on live yet so I'm not sure how it was adjusted but sorry if it really is quiet!
The SFX are going to be fixed next patch. Also, not hearing the sounds on her abilities does not make the skin pay to win. Her visuals are more than a clear indicator.
I have a similar problem with DS Zed's ult.

most people are used to vlad being red
when he's using soul stealer skin, he has a tiny, but noticable advantage in prolonged encounters where most people are not used to a green guy doing vlad things because it breaks the psychological imprint they have on him
Then there are counter examples like snow singed. His vanilla skin emits green poison which kind of blends in the background and may cause people to take extra damage than they normally would, but snow singed has white particles that clearly stand out and warn people away from his trail of poison

To be honest, many kat players liked the skin because the abilities feel smooth because of the sounds being smoother. I'd say she needs just a little bit of a louder ult, just a little and it will be perfect, however that doesn't make it a P2W skin. There is a literally giant red circle that appears around her meaning she is ulting, and the animation of how that circle appears is very visible. I also would relate her ult to fapping sounds ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It's really funny because a lot of skins actually add MORE visual or audial clarity than the base skin. A lot of Lux skin lasers are more accurate to its hitbox, Challenger Nidalee spears are much brighter and easier to read than the base version, and SG Ahri ult has a huge amount of visual cues going on than any of her other skins.
they are doing it next patch, the reason why the sound went in live softer is because they were changing it right before the cut of changes when the patch went out. it will be back to the regular sound
First time I played against it. She barely makes any sound at all, especially when ulting.
Riot please, fix this. As it stands, it's a fine example of a pay2win skin.
it's not about the skin. Try the classic ones or the other skins. It's a bug, they all have the same problem.
