Am I the only one that thinks unavoidable true damage with no real cooldown should not be a thing? Like maybe if there was a reset timer so that she can't repeatedly deal it on the same champion over and over it'd be ok but to have true damage that literally cannot be avoided seems toxic to me.

if youre building a lot of armor/health like a normal tank or some fighters would, 30% to 50% of her damage against you is true damage. with the auto attack resets build into her kit, and her tendency to build attack speed, it doesnt take her long to completely blow you up no matter how tanky you are.

no it won't, it will take her a long time for her to kill you if her autos are doing that little damage to you. Sorry to say this but if you are letting her hit you constantly for over 10 seconds with no help then you made a mistake and it was your fault entirely. By the time her true damage kills you, you should have already been gone or someone should have come to assist you... if she isn't dead by then.

it definitely does not take her a long time to shred you to pieces. when a vayne kills a tank, 30% or more of that damage being true damage is not uncommon. and then she can just turn on the next guy and do it again.

If i can poke my thought into this i think the only problem with vayne is yes you are right that most of her dmg is physical but that 20% true dmg adds up. 20% of her total dmg is true dmg but me personally the only thing that i think that needs to be looked at is vaynes passive. What if they made it so her passive was moved to her ult active and gave her a whole new passive because i think to balance out the fact that she does lots of true dmg that you need to make it so that she cant stick to you so well without being punished. Vayne:"Oh im over chasing and you try to cc me with an ashe arrow or varus ult ill go invis and tumble to the side then push you back so you cant touch me. So if she wasn't so clingy without her ult i think that she would be in a pretty good spot

Vayne didn't sneak into the meta, she's been in the meta for a long time already and has always been relevant lol I don't think her true damage is problematic but rather the ability to go invisible without being able to reveal her, which makes.her 1v1 even stronger but even then there are more champions out there which are clearly more problematic than vayne could ever be.
